cyg, I really hope that the open heart surgery is not nessesary. I love you much cyg, and I would hate to have something happen to my friend. You have brought joy into my life at times and helped me through so much even though I have only known you for a short while. I know you are a strong man and you can pull through this.

Cygnus is in bad shape
by Cygnus injust so i don't miss anybody who is interested.... my results from the ekg and the echogram showed a severe leak in a heart valve.
i am going for an angiogram on the 15th but the cardiologist says the liklihood is great that i will need open heart surgery.
rare for a 30 year old but if necessary, it is necessary.. no word yet on the results of the blood work for liver enzymes and hepatitis.

Disgusting JW Funeral story
by PopeOfEruke ini heard of a funeral held for a sister last week in a kh.. her non-jw daughter-in-law write a poem for her, and wanted to read it at the service in the kingdom hall.
the d-i-l had studied many years ago but was never baptized.
however, because she was wearing slacks, she was refused to read it from the platform and had to read it from her seat in the audience.. how low can you go?

Stories like these always sadden my heart as I had a simular experiance with a JW funeral..My sister who was mentally hadicapped died when I was 16 and my JW mother insisted that the eulogy be given by the "top" elder in the congregation. He was going on and on about paradise, and then when the time came to mention the surviving family members he named off all our family except for my sister and I, and we are both disfellowshipped. He even went on to name distant family members, while looking at my sister and I the whole time..After the burial, other people were mentioning it because it was so noticeable that he intintionally left us out, everyone saw the ass for what he was...When I mentioned it to my mother at a later time she said something to this elder about it and he had the nerve to come over to my house with another elder and tell me that he just completly forgot about us....Yeah right....SO I really truly feel for those who have had these experiances...
