  ok so i am not to computer savy, but i need help in putting a pic on my post.

  i know how to get it on my profile, but i want to be able to add pics to my posts, and i just cannot figure the damn things out... i feel as if i have tried everything and now i just can't take it anymore!!!!

  when i meet somebody for the first time i always have a few standard questions i ask them...so how about it.

  i would like to know about all you wonderful people that i chat and post with on a daily basis.

  this is me (i edited to put the link in by stephanus...thanks a bunch) .

  well my favorite color is Purple
  My sign is Pisces
  my poison of choice is Malibu Rum(yummy with pineapple juice and whipped cream!!!)
  oh hmmm the celebrity I would sleep with male would have to be Mark Mcgrath from sugar ray and the female would have to be Angelina Jolie(OH BABY)
  My musical insperation will always be Madonna(she is very straightforward and unafraid of anything, just like me)
  My favorite movie is Hope Floats (ahhh the romantic side of me shows)
  I so prefer it to be cold(easier to warm up than it is to cool down)
  My biggest fear is not being accepted for my straight forward attitude
  My best personality asset is being so straight forward
  MY biggest personality flaw is also the same as my asset, sometimes I am too straight forward, I scare people away!!!

  And If I knew how to put my picture up I sure would show you one so if you know how to do it please let me know how!!!!

  i know this is probably old news to most, but the site http://exjw.meetup.com/ has regular meetups for ex jw's.

  problem is i am the only one in the area that i am in... i think that all should check out this site, and recommend all to join, maybe i can actually find old friends in my area if the word spreads fast enough.... i would hate to be the only exjw there at the meetup eating and talking to my self :( i am sorry if this is old news to all, but i really would like the fellowship and support of all the ex witnesses in my area... thanks

  Here is my sad but true story!!!

  i was born into a well off family in the wee year of 1979. my father was a water/oil well driller and worked days on end so i rarely ever got to see him.

  by the time i was waking up in the mornings he was already at work and when he returned home at night i had already gone to bed, so most of my days where spent without him.

  i had sister that was 14 years older than i was and she had severe brain damage and had to be placed in a state home when i was 18 months old, so i do not remember to much about home life with her, other than it was like we had a "big" baby at home with us.

  Thank you all so very much.... All of you have been so supportive and kind. I have learned many ways to stay strong by reading the posts here on jwd. For the longest time I felt so alone, and felt like I had been done so wrong by the JW's and that my case was an extreme case, but by being here and talking with so many of you all I have learned that my situation is very very like many of your guys stories. Thank you for the friendships, and the tears I have shed with many of you all.

  OH slippy please don't cry.... I was not posting here for sympathy... I just needed to get it out... My life is not nearly as bad as others....and for that I am thankful... but thank you for taking the time to read my story....Hugs to you!!!!

  i was raised a witness, and i was always told that demons were everywhere.

  i was told that if you let your mind open to "wrong" thinking that demons will invade you and take over.

  and just about anything could get you demonized.

  OH my gosh!!!!! I am still terrified of demons..... I cannot watch a scary movie with out getting the feeling that demons are all around me. I know that I am just being silly.....but I think I welcome the demons now....
