did an "entertaining" work plant a seed of doubt?.
the first one i can remember making a definate comparison to the witnesses in my mind was ray bradbury's martian chronicles.
Ray Bradbury's "Farenheit 451", (read that when i first became involved with the witnesses).
Margaret Atwood's "The Handmaidens Tale".
Charlotte Perkins Gilman's "The Yellow Wall Paper".
It is not that i thought of the society and the truth when i read these books, however, there is something to take from these books that can relate to the witness life and highlights the erroneous/detrimental thought patterns or actions that i had while being a witness.

ever have one of those days..when you go outside,and part of your dogs throat has been ripped out?...
that was the begining of my day... i have no idea what attacked him..whatever it was,was f*cking vicious!
!..there was a 2 inch hole of missing fur and skin on his neck.....and a severed artery......also a 2 inch hole of missing fur and skin on his leg.....and..another severed artery.....there was blood everywhere... the nearest vet is 1 1/2 hours away..i phoned in and told the doctor to be ready for me... i tied the dogs wounds up with tee-shirts to try to minimilize the bleeding..then put a 100 lb bleeding dog,in the back of the truck..........poor dog tried to stand up in the truck..his neck started to gush with blood..i got him to lie down..the bleeding slowed.....i jumped in the truck and drove..that was one long hour and a half... the doctor came out..looked at the dog,ran back in and brought out a stretcher..it took three of us to bring him in so he would`nt move around..that dog has spunk!..lol!!.

bringen: i use to eat the part of my meal i liked least and end with what i liked best. same with the sandwich. i'd eat the crust part first. then it dawned on me. i don't have to eat the crust, i am a grown up and i can eat whatever part i want.

i guess everyone on this site is pretty normal though. no one seems to have any quirky habits. no nail biting. no jingling change in the pant pocket. no having to have your bath towels folded a certain way. maybe, we left them behind when we exited the org.
i have a few that i remember that were interesting.
of course, those that i supposedly helped.. but i also remember one man at an apartment.
i started to talk about the universe, and how the planets are aligned perfectly, and the earth is the perfect distance from the sun to support life.
yes, i remember one conversation. and it is on a website. it's on:

my pet will not drink water from the tap.
absolutely refuses.
will look at the bowl of water and back at me, then back to water, then look at me again as if to try to communicate something.
i am so glad to read from fellow pet caregivers. Water for the pets is from the tap. however, i make blocks (3 inches squared) of ice and put it in their water. and their water bowls are big, none of that little cutsie stuff. i figure when they lick up the water, some of their spit goes back in, so that is why i have the big bowls. and i know i would like ice water instead of warm water to drink, so that is why i make ice for them.
if i could afford to give them stage 3 pur filter water and organic food like ohio cowboy, i would. but, as soon as i can, i will. however, i do make food for the animals whenever i can. the dogs like the chicken stew that i make for them on occassion. i give the scrap chicken pieces to the cats.
