Who here loves to garden?

i love to flower garden, i have a really nice one in front of my house.. i have.

holly hocks, primrose, lilacs, daisy's, oriental poppy's.

i also have miniture roses along my sidewalk and i'm getting a peony tree very soon.

I have to check where zone 5 is ......lol......but I am in PA and it gets cold in winter but tons of ground covers survive// packasandra is on that comes to mind. A good three season perennials are the phlox.

Here ya go. Do yourself a favor and take the time to look these up and think about them. The NT classic verses that the jw's stumble over ie: The Father is greater than I....etc. are ALL understandable when the trinity concept is applied. Jesus emptied Himself, willingly. Subjection does not mean not equal. I am in subjection to my husband, yet it is a willing subjection to him and I am equal to him as a human....(in nature) but I am in willing subjection to him in rank. He loves me and never abuses this headship. The Father and the Son give each other glory. They are separate persons, yet one. Hope this helps in the deprogramming......love, dj

Heathen, For starters...I am female. I do not have a different idea of what the CONCEPT of the trinity is. You are still mistaken. Even the Catholics teach that there are 3 personalities in God and while they are separate they also are one. You need to get your facts straight. I suppose that your family doesn't shun you because you do not oppose them, am I right? I will come back to post for you a link that might help you dispell some of the wt false logic in the bible. You need to check it out it does coincide with all that I have learned when I sought after an understanding of the bible from the holyspirit who teaches all things....not some men from Brooklyn

I am not surprised believe it or not. This is what is called "theocratic warfare" to a jw. They condone lying by it. This is an unusual experience but not surprising to me anyway. Next time don't answer the door and keep some peace in your life. love, dj

Jehovahs Witnesses: Locusts From the Abyss?

These locusts are demonic and they may very well be people. Obviously, people who claim to speak for Christ and yet are deceitful and oppose Him in reality. Because they are called locusts, it seems that they would "attack" in swarms or groups. They harm those who do not have the spirit of God. They do not have the spirit of God, either. They even torture them, which could be physically but seems more like emotionally or even spiritually. They have come from the abyss and I suppose that they want to take hostages. The life span of a locust is 5 months, so it goes to show that they can inflict this harm all of their lives. They seem to be able to cause such emotional trauma that their victims become extremely depressed/insane and seek suicide in order to get away, yet they can't. A very disturbing scenario but not unlike most experiences here.

Are you actually surprised? I have never seen honorable behavior out of the wt. Have you forgotten that they believe that they are the locusts of Rev.9 who have come out of the bottomless pit to harm and torture people? This is not an ordinary group of people. They are living delusional disfunctional lives w/o love or humility. I submit to you that many non-jw lawyers are more ethical than the wt lawyers. They will stop at nothing because they truly believe that this exposure will bring reproach on God's name. Which as we know, is a deceitful cult who dishonors Christ on a daily basis. They will do what it takes to protect themselves in order to keep their self-righteousness. Don't be fooled. love, dj
