THE WAY IN IS THE WAY OUT
by Terry ini got in officially in november of 1963 when i was baptised at the cleburne, texas assembly.
judicial committee cut me loose.. the way in consisted of having jehovah's witnesses demonstrate to me that there was considerable false information and hypocricy in christendom.
i lost confidence in what i had been told, taught and believed.. today, i believe that is also the way out of jehovah's witnesses!.

Blood fractions insert covered in tonight's service meeting
by becca1 infor those still "in", how did this part go over in your congregation?
we actually had a brother raise his hand and comment that he could not explain to a doctor why we allow fractions and obey the command of levitucus to pour blood out on the ground.
i wonder how many others felt the same but did not have the never to comment openly?

You're probably right Blondie. My dad (an 83 year old elder) says he won't accept any fractions. However, he won't openly agree with me that the whole concept is ridiculous. He can exercise his own conscience in the matter but can't bring himself to admit the Society is wrong.

How Jw's will begin to 'accept' blood doctrinally.
by AK - Jeff inonce upon a time, blood in any form was rejected by jw's.
then, over time, they morphed the policies to allow some 'fractions' or blood.
this allowed witnesses to get immunizations, treatments for hemophilia, etc.. in the past few years now, the policy is allowing greater 'definition' of 'fractions' - to the point where even bovine rbc's, altered to be called a 'fraction' now, due to processing the hemoglobin from the cells, for use.

Jeff: I just got back form the service meeting and was telling my husband that I felt the Society would soon find a way to say the "new light"is that to abstain from blood we must not eat or drink it, any other use is a conscience matter. Then I logged on to JWD and read this post. I agree completly with your point of view, this fraction thing is just to get people used to the idea of taking blood so they won't freak out when the ban is totally lifted.
