john denver annies song - i can't help it i saw him singing it on telly once when i was little and fell in love with it.
Yes he is a sensitive little lad, takes after his mum, that's why i get worried he'll be sucked into the whole jw thing one day, hes only 5 but thinks v deeply on things and is always asking questions.
For some reason everything on YouTube keeps freezing on me so will try and have a listen to the tracks later. The snippets i heard sounded good though!

Eclipse - Americans not recognising our accents is like me not recognising Nic Cages' i guess! Where i come from we sound a bit like Hagrid from Harry Potter and Alice from Vicar of Dibley, fortunately i have only a v slight accent lol!
Changeling - Emma Thompson has a nice voice, the Queens' english i guess (in other words posh) my mum speaks like that as well. Re Nic Cage what can i say, i suppose i just like men who are a bit 'different' lol

Trevor from the bits i heard of the song it sounds lovely and tear jerky!It kept 'freezing' on me though, i don't know why some of the YouTube ones always do that!

having already started a thread about jw actions that irritated us the issue has to be completed by discussing what we did or can do to irritate them.
i would say wearing a cross would vex or even frighten them since they think it's a satanic symbol.
or drawing a cross on a kh with chalk and writing above it : jesus christ lord of the church.

ive always been a horror movie fan, although i didnt watch as many when i was a dub.
i remembered watching this made to tv movie when i was a kid, i loved it.
i have so many favorite horror movies i can't pick just one; here is the clip from one i remembered watching on tv; before the days of chucky, lol.

I used to love watching the old hammer house of horror films i wasn't allowed to at home but my nan used to let me at her house, then i'd have nightmares for weeks lol

Well obviously JWDers have excellent taste in music! Some of my faves that were mentioned are:
NVR - The Luckiest, thats beautiful, my little boy listened and said 'its so beautiful mummy i think i'm going to cry' lol! And obviously you DO have a life because i can see quite clearly that when your'e not at JWD your'e on YouTube lol
Mum - How did i miss out Rod Stewart Your'e in My Heart?Thats one of his best, i love husky voices like his and Brian Adams
LRG - Yep that Carole King song is a classic i sing that one around the house as well
Truly Madly Deeply is a beautiful song, he had a lovely voice and face to match!
Was it IP_SEC who said about James Blunt?I have hat CD of his i love that song, it was used alot on a dance show over here, but i have to admit for a while i thought it was a woman singing!

well i've got a sign on my door saying no religious callers, and that has REALLY annoyed my elder step fil lol!
I also thought i might mention if he tries pestering us again that i don't wish to talk about religion to someone i regard as an apostate and mention that i think the GB are the evil slave class. I just know that will really get under his skin and serve him right for trying to hassle hubby. I'd like to hear some more suggestions too though as i'm sure there'll be better ones.
