Mothers of any age what is your opinion....?
by restrangled inthis is not based on polictics.
it is based on what you would personally do in a specific circumstance.
please do not base your answer on a democratic or republican response.

I've always gone straight to the hospital with my pregnancy problems, with my last, i woke to find i'd wet the bed and he was 4 wks early, i thought i'd be sent home but it was my waters and i had to have another emergency c section. Hospitals would always rather you went in if your'e worried even if its a false emergency, if i hadn't gone by instinct with my first (after the doctor said everything was fine) and gone to the hospital for a check up he would have died in the womb. Better to be safe than sorry.

For Those Who Donate Blood: Do You Feel It's Your Duty
by Nosferatu intoday, i decided to go donate blood for the second time ever.
it's really weird.
i don't normally volunteer for anything, but i happily volunteer to donate blood.

I can't give blood til my babys 9 months apparently but am going do, its my next goal. I want to do it because my other son wouldn't be here if it wasn't for the few teaspoons of blood he had when born early, it won't take my guilt away, nothing will, but if i can make a difference to someone like the person that donated the blood he received it would be fantastic.

Things I am ashamed of...
by tresdecu inbeing an attendant 'guard' at assy's and feeling that 'goose-bumpy' chill that i was in the vicinity of a gb member.
oh boy...he said "hello brother" to me.
accepting commendation for talks, being told i was a 'good teacher' when all i did was parrot info from the cd rom.. thinking to myself "i can't wait to see the look on the apostates faces, when the big 'a' comes and they see the wrath of jah".

things that i can't even mention on here whilst in the org, but we can't change the past we have to move on from it all or the guilt will eat you up. But there are plenty of things we should be proud of too,esp in facing up to seeing what the 'truth' really is.

Milk and Meat are poisoning people and destroying our health!
by Witness 007 ini have read a dozen different health books that come to this same conclusion.
what is milk?
mammal infants require milk from their own species to grow quickly and start solid food.

Can i just ask about the public and non public watchtowers..
by dobbie infor those of you that know, is there any difference between the two?i haven't been here for a few months and wondered if the public wt is tolerant and friendly than the witnesses one,and if the witnesses one was more hardline, covering the more controversial things?would just be really interested to find out if the public one has articles more designed to catch householders out, without putting anything in them that could put them off ie discipline (shunning) or blood etc.
thanks!

Maybe they figure that if you can only get the wt study mags by going to the meetings, it'll make the attendance figures jump up?!

Is there any one thing you DID like about the witnesses?
by dobbie inok so obviously there's more bad than good(slight understatement i know!
) but is there anything you did enjoy about the religion?
just wondering cos i asked myself that question and the only thing i can think of (and it seems a bit materialistic to me lol) is that i could dress up in nice clothes and see men in suits!

Anything at all you did like or miss (don't eat me for asking btw!)

thanks for repyling, i didn't know if they'd use the witness only one to get even more controlling but looks like that hasn't happened (yet!)
