More answers lol! This is annoying so i apologise but i can't cut and paste your replies:
Snowbird - back at ya!
Sammielee24 - what Tracey Barlow killed her bf?!Don't ask me for the latest, i never watch soaps!Yes Rowan Atkinson is funny, my hubbys mad on Mr Bean , named our son after him!I used to like the BlackAdder series best.
KW13 - never met anyone from Cheshire, is it a bit like Lancashire but softer?(Sorry i am famous for my terrible geography!)
5go - So very sorry about your sister.
Under_believer - I think Katie Leung has a scottish accent, i am actually going to see the new Harry Potter film tomorrow so i will have a listen!
Changeling - Thanks duck your'e a sweetie yourself
Wow loads of you like Monty Python, got to be honest have never ever seen it!
Sorry if i haven't replied to everyone but its 6am and i'm not quite with it yet!
I find it really interesting that most can't tell a difference in Brit accents, as to us they sound so different. Also don't you all have your own regional dialects? Cos someone like Lloyd Grossman (from Boston?) has a really different accent to say Elvis!
Anyway if ever any of you visit England i will treat you to fish and chips and cook you a roast!(And no i won't force you to eat the sprouts lol!)
i'm out of ideas, out of fluff threads.
.
i think that the holy sprit that made me start so many threads in the past, left me for good.... lets see, i'll try once more and see if i'll be inspired...... when was your last oil change?
Cor i really though something was up then!
Maybe you could do some posts for those of us who have no computer skills at all, you know like how to download those pigging photos cos i still can't do it lol!
i hate cars.
they just cost money and eventually rust away.. however, given that it's pretty difficult to do anything without one in north america and that we now need another because angharad got a job (yay), does anyone have any good suggestions?.
things i want:.
Hubby has a Ford Focus he really loves it i guess compared to other cars it seems cheap (though it still seems alot of money to me!) it has been really reliable and very good for braking, road handling etc and very comfy. I have a Ford KA, probably best if your'e little like me and if you don't need to get much in the boot!
just wondering if anyone else has aquired the "evil" laugh after they stopped being a jw?.
few months ago with-in my family (the non-witness side) i confided about many of the things i have come to learn from this site and other sources.
being as some familys do, word got around about my "apostate" thinking.
That's really funny. I don't think i have an evil laugh, more of a giggle but i am certainly doing alot more of it since i came out!!
i have to confess, i am addicted to old soppy songs, i guess i'm just an old romantic.
just wondering what your favourite love songs are, mine are a bit wet but i will post it anyway lol!.
john denver annies song - i can't help it i saw him singing it on telly once when i was little and fell in love with it.
KW13 'Well i passed the due date dobbie and i didn't hit her lol' hee hee wait til labour, it might be the other way round!!!
Will have a listen to the songs in the morning, its quarter to five in the morning here and i think if i start playing music now hubby might get a little bit cross lol!
thought of some more The First Cut is The Deepest Rod Stewart
Heaven Bryan Adams
Three Times a Lady The Commodores
The Glory of Love Peter Cetera totally wet i know but i used to love it

Yes he is a sensitive little lad, takes after his mum, that's why i get worried he'll be sucked into the whole jw thing one day, hes only 5 but thinks v deeply on things and is always asking questions.
For some reason everything on YouTube keeps freezing on me so will try and have a listen to the tracks later. The snippets i heard sounded good though!

Thanks for your answers! Glad you do have state health/benefits for when it is needed, i didn't realise.
Nvrgnbk - lol @ 'Are You Being Served' i used to love that when i was little - all i can say is (in my best John Inman voice) 'I'm free!'
Mrs Jones - Didn't think Nic Cage was from Cali thought his accent was a bit Nashville or something so shows what i know!
Cicatrix - Vicar of Dibley is v funny Alice and Hugo crack me up!
'Marmee' oh thats really cute!My son calles me 'momma' sometimes, its really sweet.
BREAD SAUCE guys is a thick creamy sauce made from bread, milk cloves and onion - or you can cheat like i do and get the packet mix!
IP_SEC your'e obviously not such a chip connoisseur as me lol!Give me chip shop or home made ones anyday than those thin cardboard things my son likes from MaccyD's
Eclipse - Americans not recognising our accents is like me not recognising Nic Cages' i guess! Where i come from we sound a bit like Hagrid from Harry Potter and Alice from Vicar of Dibley, fortunately i have only a v slight accent lol!
Changeling - Emma Thompson has a nice voice, the Queens' english i guess (in other words posh) my mum speaks like that as well. Re Nic Cage what can i say, i suppose i just like men who are a bit 'different' lol
