i got online this morning looking for an announcement, but can't find anything.
i imagine he's been too busy to post, but i'm looking forward to hearing the big news that baby and mum are ok.

On a practical note, don't forget to take yourself in a supply of food and water/juice etc, you'll need to keep your strength up too!

I'm sure he will post as soon as he is able, hopefully not but i think Megan was just being induced when he last posted, so it could take a while. When i was induced last time they said it looked like it could take a few day () but he decided he didn't like the drug they put in me and had to come out by caesar rather quickly! Hopefully though Megan's had a quickish labour and he is busy cuddling his little son. I'm all broody now!
it's been a long time since i posted here but i often read your messages when ian (dansk) logs on.
as most of you will know, ian will be going back into hospital on monday for an allogeneic stem cell transplant and will be away from the forum for a good few weeks (hopefully he'll be back home within 4-6 weeks).
last time he was in hospital many of you sent messages to his ward and i know they cheered him up immensely.
So sorry to hear about the virus Ian, hope they can get it sorted out at the hospital. Thinking of you and your family

my wife and i laughed our selfs crazy watching it.
mrs. flipper actually fell on the floor watching it, laughing !
Tbh hubby had the dvd and i wouldn't watch it for ages, i thought it was just the sort of film i'd hate, full of language and a bit stupid, but through some of it i was nearly crying with laughter, esp. when he was a dinner guest and made a comment about how the men in his country would like two of the wives there, and then he said to this bloke 'but not your wife' or something and the blokes face was really funny. I thought he was a bit nuts and lucky not to get lynched at the rodeo show when he started singing his country's anthem, and was shocked when he was winding them up saying stuff about killing all the iraquis plus children and alot were agreeing with him, then when i watched the extra scenes on the dvd the news reported it and edited it to show him saying all that stuff and where in the film people looked mad at him singing his anthem, they put that in where he's been talking about the iraq people. The only thing i didn't like was that hairy bum in his face bit yuk! Peoples reactions to him were really interesting to watch, i think it was cleverly put together though he must have a death wish or something!

No i've totally shed all that baggage! I never think of meetings or assemblies or fs except to think how glad i am i don't have to do it anymore. Someone could run down my road starkers with a pair of pants on his head and it wouldn't bother me, i am much more open minded and tolerant of others and myself, i no longer think of people as sheep or goats and if i did then it would to feel sorry for those sheep 'led around being pushed into the pen as it were by the elders with all their silly rules. I much prefer goats, they have their own personalities and won't be oushed around lol.(I know what i'm trying to say here but i don't think it will make sense to anyone else lol!)

in another thread i mentioned megans waters broke, well now she is having strong contractions and is due to go into real labour anytime soon.
the hospital are ringing me when to go up.. hope your all well, thanks for your support - honestly we really love you all and if you can just post a reply to megan, when she gets home and is able she will read and reply when she gets a chance (will be a week at most).. i am sat here awaiting my 'phone call' lol..

hey, i just became a vegetarian and i'm wondering how do you stop yourself from getting lightheaded?
i'm always getting lightheaded after i work out and i'm fearing i might have to eat meat.
I'm quite a healthy specimen Outlaw lol!Whenever i've had my blood tested it's always been really good, even over the average for females. Must be all those lentils mmmm...
Also probably sounds daft, but in your post it says it only happens when your'e exercising, i expect you are but are you drinking enough fluids and not getting dehydrated?

You could be maybe short on iron if you aren't getting enough in your new diet. Good sources include wholegrain cereals, leafy green veg, pulses such as chickpeas lentils kidney beans and also baked beans, dried fruit, also in slightly less amounts egg hard cheese and brown rice or brown bread. Also a good intake of vit c from fruit and peppers etc helps your body to absorb the iron. Or you could have fruit juice as well. Proteins important as well such as nuts seeds tofu soya products, cereals eggs milk cheese and yoghurt. You could pop to your docs for a blood test just to check your haemoglobin levels. There are a lot of veggie websites with advice if you just google vegetarian diets or something. Sorry am off out now or wuld find some for you. Any questions (or recipes ) just ask, i've been veggie for 26 yrs. I eat dairy products though, i was a vegan for a short while but i couldn't give up the chocolate!soya chocolate - yuk!
i have been inactive now for over a half a year, and i am just now realizing that there was not one thing i enjoyed about being a witness.
i enjoyed my friends and association with witnesses, and still do.
but i didn't enjoy one thing that we were supposed to do, not one.
The only thing i really liked about it was walking out the door on my way home!
Tbh the few friends i did like enough to have as 'close' friends were quite high maintenance, esp one who basically was an emotional and physical wreck. I used to try and be there for her for a long time but in the end it just wore me down that it was a relief not to have to see them anymore. I know that probably sounds horrible but i find other peoples moods/upsets really affect me as well so i felt like i was carrying their problems as well as my own and i think you can only take it for so long. I do wish this friend in particular will leave one day though i doubt it because i am sure alot of her problems are jw related.
