by Frjprice inhello, i just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here - as i will be posting here.. i grew up a jw and pioneered, was a ministerial servant, ect, i was in the organization for 17 years.
i left and naturally my family did as they were told and cut off all communication with me.
this left a horrible taste in my mouth for not just jw's, but any religion for that matter.

Official protocol for DF family member
by ellderwho inwhile talking with mom(active dub) this morning, i said " aren't you glad i was never baptised so you can still talk and have a mother son relationship'?
her response shocked me in that she said it wouldn't matter your still my son.
and she would be able to talk with me, just cannot discuss the jw religion.. i was always under the impression you would be shunned for the rest of your life, unless you went through the chain of command for reinstatement.

Personally since d'aing last year only one jw has spoken to me, all the others shun me, including my mother in law, she was at my son school to collect my nephew yesterday and styed as far away from me and my toddler as possible!She says to my husband she is not even allowed to walk into my house!
I have spoken to ones via computer though that say their families do still see them etc albeit 'on the quiet'.
Does anyone remember as i am positive there was something around this time last year or just before remnding them of the policy and it even mentioned younger ones living at home it was either the watchtower or kingdom ministry. I remember reading it just before i left and then a month later sis in law saying they had new updated information on the policy and they weren't meant to speak to me at all . Just wondering if anyone had a copy of this article but i threw all mine away.

MY DAD MIGHT DIE DUE TO THE 'NO BLOOD' DOCTRINE
by Mary ini don't have much time to post as i'm headed back to the hospital, but my father collapsed this morning and had to be rushed to the hospital.
in a nutshell: he needs a blood transfusion as his hemoglobin is dropping (bleeding internally), but thanks to this fucking cult, that's not an option...........he'll accept the fractions but those bastards from the blood liaison committee have already shown up to ensure he doesn't cave............... for those of you who still believe, i'm asking you to say a prayer for my dad........and if anyone from crooklyn is reading this: you better hope my father doesn't die due to your fucked up rules, .

My nana passed away tonight.
by Es ini receieved an sms of my mum saying nan was slipping away i literally called as soon as i got the msg, and she had already passed away.
things were looking up for a bit, we were managing to get some water and food into her and she had accepted to have a tube put in her, they tried last night but it was unsuccessful.. when i saw her on saturday it was the most alert she was, sunday she had very laboured breathing and tonight when my mum go into the hosp, my nan was no responsive, it was like she just waited for my mum to come in and then she passed away.. im in shock, even tho i knew it was coming it was looking hopeful for a bit there.. thanks for your support.

What feels more liberating than burning your bra???
by loosie inpicking up 5 wt and awakes at your doctor's office and and tossing them in the trash after your appointment.. i tore them up so the garbage man wouldn't decide to become a jehovah's witness.. loosie (of the i didn't burn my bra but tore up mags instead class).
