i was recently told that circit overseers must give up the position at age 70. is that true and if so, does the coordinator have to give up his position at age 70 also?

There was a Sunday talk on feelings and emotions at a local church group recently and I noted that they said when we stand in the presence of the raw emotion of someone, we are on 'sacred ground' ....as in that person's heart is needing of our outmost care and respect.

7. What can be done when a circuit overseer observes a single sister in need of spiritual assistance? If she is younger and still living at home with her believing parents, they are responsible to provide the needed spiritual guidance. If she is of age and no longer living at home, the elders in her congregation should be taking the lead
in offering needed direction. If the circuit overseer feels it would be helpful, he may provide the parents or the elders with suggestions on how to assist the sister spiritually. In harmony with the inspired counsel at Titus 2:3-5, it may be that the circuit overseer’s wife could help single sisters, depending on the circumstances. Of course, he
would not want to encourage her to place herself in a situation with a sister who is experiencing complex problems that would drain his wife’s time and energies.—See 23:4.

i've really enjoyed the cnn series on the 60's and 70's - they give you more of the "feel" of how things progressed in each decade than just the raw facts while still providing interesting and entertaining views of history.
each episode typically focuses on development of one aspect such as tv, music or politics and of course includes important world events.. starting on thursday is the next series, this time covering the 80's.
now it's catching up with things i can really remember well directly.. the trailer shows the huge tv event of the decade if not all time - who shot jr. yes kids, who shot mr burns was just a copy of it i'm afraid.. it was broadcast in the uk on tuesday evening.
