  i have a 14 year old son who lives with his father a jw and his step mother jw who grew up as a witness.

  my ex-husband is fairly well off but his father and family have done very well for them selves.

  the way they pass money down is into the next of kin and when that person dies the next down the line gets it.

  If your Ex has no will (dies intestate) His issue (son) is given a portion of the estate.

  This happened to my wife. Mom died first, dad remarries, dad dies no will, His property was divided among his new wife and his children by the court.

  It's funny how the almighty $ or lack of motivates jws and they not even realize it. I.E. want to barrow your equipment, obviously they could not afford to rent some so it became alright to ask of a person they were to shun. Absurd

  Maby hubby thinks oh no my wife the veg. Jah says I cant divorce her. But on the brighter side he could be an elder as his wife would be in subjection.

  I wish I would have completed my education earlier.

  There are a few regrets. But doing my best to right them.

  The old saying; In 20 years you'll regret what you didn't do not what you did do.

  I' talked to you before. You answered some questions about "security guards" at assemblys.

  I just noticed you're from SD. I wrecked a new truck on a pigtail turn in Wind Cave NP. Spent a week recuperating in Hot Springs. Some of the most hospitible people I have ever met in my life bar none.

  What bothers you more, snakes or spiders

  it is pretty common among us humans to have an issue with one of the big two.

  we either have a discomfort with them, or just dislike them all together.

  personally, i am not real against being around either, but if i had to choose which one i see in a more negative way, it would be spiders.

  I've been bitten by both. The snake (Timber Rattler) hurt the worst and took the longest to heal. The spider (Brown Recluse) had more of a burning sensation. The day the spider bit me my whole body hurt. Never went to the Doc for either one.

  i need some help in understanding something that's been bothering me for a while, please give me some insight on this.

  i often see posts here where some take shots at elders and witnesses for working as janitors and window washers, and it's always bothered me.

  i mean does it really matter what they do for a living as long as they are making a living honestly?

  Problem with an elder

  i have a friend in my congregation.

  he's completely indoctrinated, and genuinely believes everything the organisation teaches, but he's still a good person, and he stands up for things when he knows somethings wrong.

  as you can imagine, this often causes problems, and there is an arrogant elder who he has had many run ins with in the past.

  Maby its time to do some recon on uncle. Remember he's human also. Sometimes a telefoto lens works wonders.

  My mom calls to chew me out about my college... YIKES!!!

  so, i was happy and celebrating because of getting good grades in my courses, well i get a call from my mom.

  at first the phone call was just "hi, how are you" then she laid into me saying my "problem" (meaning my divorce) was because i was putting my education first and not jah.

  she goes on to tell me that the "talk today" was about people murmuring as israelites and bad things happened to them.
