What is the best book I can give to a JW to convince her its all a big con ? Maybe she will read it maybe she wont but at least I said I tried my best.

He could be gay for all I know. I keep asking myself as a man how can he put up with it. I trust what she says and I do believe they dont sleep together.
Time will tell I suppose. I just wish I was more knowledgeable. She is my best friend above all else.

Easier said than done when you really care this much about someone. I just want to help her but as I said I just dont have the knowledge. I cant help but feel a responsibilty to help her, but I have no facts to back up my point. Im a believer in science but Im open minded to peoples beliefs but with JW's its different its like a cult, all cans and cants rather than "go out and find out for yourself because we know you will always come back"

Another thing is that she wants to read me some JW literature is that a good idea ? I really do have strong feelings for her and I care about her so much, do you think I should maybe study with her so I can then understand or do you think I will be sucked in ?

Where to begin ?? Where to begin ? I am not a Jw or of any other faith but I have recently been involved with a JW. I met this girl in work about 2 years ago we got to know each other really well, I always knew she was a JW but I really didnt know what it meant. She is married and has been since she was 18 and to this day says it was the worst mistake she has ever made. Anyway we got to know each other and things got to be a bit more serious and we started seeing alot of each other. She always said she was going to leave "the truth" and be with me but as time passed I realised that was never going to happen. She says her heart is with me but her head is with her husband and the religion. She sleeps in a separate bedroom to him and they have a totally none marital relationship. What I dont understand is her husband found out about me and her but he has accepted it and just told her that for her own sake she needs to stay in the religion and not leave. She has been made to stay through guilt to him and to the religion. She still see's me but goes to the meetings about 1-2 times a week. She never explains any of it because she says she cant explain a lifes work. How do I get her to see the light and realise just how bad the religion is and that there is life after it. She keeps asking me to convince her that its not the truth but because I dont know enough about it its so hard to help her. She is like an animal in a cage being sent mental but having no way to get out and even if she got out she doesnt know any different so she is scared of the outside world. She smokes swears and is a generally normal person until she leaves me and goes back there. What can I say or do to help her ?
