Did Leaving the Organization Make you Feel *Alive*?
by Mysterious indid you have moments after you left the organization when you felt alive for the first time?
when you realized that you had just been drudging around with your head down, enduring rather than living.
when that huge burden was lifted from your shoulders and you saw the world not for the place of darkness and pain that the witnesses made it out to be but for all the wonder in it?

Okay, I am the only lame on this forum. lolThis must be the same information just rehashed, because when I was a teenager, we were already doing this stuff. We would have
partiesgathering and play Kingdom Melodies, sing the songs (What will you bring Jehovah's Kingdom, Trumphiant of truth and righteousness lol) , bible games, (who was the oldest man to live on earth), and do the watchtower together. And I loved it! I mean we had so much fun. The sisters that I would get with were so down to earth and real. I still miss that association. They were just really good people trying to serve God and make it fun for the young people in the KH.This one sister in particular was so sassy and spunky. She was single and a regular pioneer, real smart. She was maybe 8 yrs older then me at the time and she put in major time with all the young sisters at the hall. Boy did I love her and we did all this chessy corny stuff. And she didn't take no sh*t from the elders either. One time we were out boweling and she bought me an alcoholic drink when I was like 16 a daquri or something cause my mom said I could drink it, because I was with her and she trusted her so much. She eventually transfer because the brothers where giving her a hard time for moving out her mom's house to live by herself. I think they hated that she had more of an influence on the young sisters then they did and they saw her as being too independant. She claimed she didn't want no man telling her what to do, so she doubt if she would marry.
So I actually enjoyed those parties. We didn't only have those types, but when we did I just saw us all sharing a common goal, " Love for Jehovah", and it made me closer to the ones at the hall.

I AM SUCH A KLUTZ! Hello!
by Geronimo ini've been lurking here and reading for a couple of months now.
i was also a jw for a few years but got myself dfed when i started asking difficult questions, wouldn't stop asking them, and kept pointing out how the wts didn't make any sense.
i am an unrepentent rebellious one who was warned and publically reproved until finally i finally had it out with the elders and they showed me the door.
