so there i am yesterday, driving through the lovely english countryside enjoying the rolling green slopes of the hills.

now in my part of the world (lancashire) there's lots and lots of sheep!!

they look lovely mooching around in the grass and moorland totally oblivious to what's going on around them.. until they stand in the road in the path of your car.......licking the tarmac!!.

in many parts of the world when a male or female reaches puberty they are considered potential mates.

this is especially true in the culture of many countries in south america as well as the more rural areas of the us.

this is not what i am concerned about.

i don't usuallypost about personal issues; i am still fading; besides, i was raised in a family that would say we were doing well even if our house was burning down.. for the last month i have been stressing about seeing family from the west coast; my brother, out for many years but now back in and gung ho, is bringing his son and daughter out.

family reunion, of sorts.

i wanted to host, but then i realized that my disfellowshipped daughter would not be included.

Sorry for you loss, and I hope your brother can overlook your daughter status in the congergation so that everyone can grieve together and find comfort with one another.

How do you say good-bye?

my doctor called me today and told me i have a very aggressive case of colon cancer.

i go back on monday for more tests and maybe surgery and chemo i don't know.

my partner is a total mess over this and he is all i have.

I've known a few colon Ca patient and they are find now. Don't give up and stay positive. I think this helps tremendously

Wow, I just read your topic history... It seems like you've been really going through some stuff. I loved your letter. It was simple and to the point. Refresh you post so that others you've been in contact with before can know your situation. The friends forum fills up very quickly with new forums.

I'm so extremely happy for you. I think you made the right decision and that Jehovah approves. I don't think it okay to beats one mate and not still considered scripturally divorced. It sounds ridiculous. I had a friend here going through the same thing. She just faded away, after the brothers gave her scriptural counsel about a marital status, when she left him.

Go and be happy!
