  Disassociation letter2

  so... i finally have thought about somethings that i want to say in my letter to disassociate... in my last topic starter regarding this, someone had meantioned disfellowship papers?

  why would they be sending disfellowshipment papers if i take myself out?.

  in the letter, i am thinking about making the one to my friends kinda short and sweet and to the point.

  guidlines for dress and grooming as laid out by CO

  so the co visited my cong and at the ms and elders meeting the brothers were told that those wiht parts on the platforms must not have sideburns, mustaches, beards or shaved heads because it is worldly.

  as well bright colorful dress shirts are not permitted eother because it distracts from the "important message" of the talk.

  there was also heavy counsel on tattoos.. on a totally different topic, i was talking to my mom the other day and she was going on about how free she would be in paradise.

  i saw my daughter for the first time today, since she was disfellowshipped.

  just to make it clear, i refuse to shun her so she insists on shunning me.

  Not much more for me to add here. You've gotten some great advice.

  Just tell her you were wrong and that you love her. We aren't perfect and all make mistakes. You did it out of love and thought it was the right thing to do. Stop beating yourself up about it. It will only make you more miserable. Be happy that you saw thru it all now and not 5,10, or even 20yrs from now. You could have lost a whole lifetime but your not. That's something to be happy about. Very happy.

  i think that when you are in a cult like the dubs, things stick with you whether you want them to or not.

  I back down to my fiance all the time when he asks my opinion on matters concerning money "respecting his position as head of the household". He hates it. He wants me to make the final decision and I still can't.

  Me too, I still have the " the man is the head" mentality that I can't seem too shake. Me thinks my husband likes it

  I got my tongue pierced. I couldn't eat for weeks. I lost a lot of weight. My husband con'd me into taking it out(said it wasn't professional looking Now I miss it. I was thinking of getting it repierced. You can buy clear tongue rings once it's healed and no one will know I have it. But I hear it hurts worst the second time around. But the thought of losing weight again is such a lure.

  my kitten who is about 16 weeks old now woke me up this morning by trying to nurse .

  he came from a shelter so we think he might be a bit insecure ^_^ even though we adopted him at 7 weeks.

  i don't know about you guys, but i never pray before eating and never pray before going to bed.. first of all i like a hot meal, so i don't pray before eating, and i also never pray before going to bed, because i might fall alseep before i say amen.

  fbi: fugitive polygamist arrested near las vegas

  las vegas, nevada (ap) -- the fugitive leader of a polygamist sect has been arrested in southern nevada, the fbi said tuesday.. warren steed jeffs, 50, was taken into custody after he and two other people were pulled over late monday by a nevada highway patrol trooper on interstate 15 just north of las vegas, fbi spokesman david staretz said.. the leader of the fundamentalist church of jesus christ of latter-day saints was wanted in utah and arizona on suspicion of sexual misconduct for allegedly arranging marriages between underage girls and older men.. since may, jeffs has been on the fbi's ten most wanted list, with a $100,000 reward offered for information leading to his capture.. the other two people in the vehicle were identified as one of warren jeffs' wives, naomi jeffs, and a brother, isaac steve jeffs, both 32, staretz said.

  they were being interviewed by the fbi in las vegas but were not arrested.. jeffs was in federal custody in las vegas pending a court hearing on a federal charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution, staretz said.
