My shunning mother called me....accidently
by restrangled inthis was such a sad exhange and just shows how unnatural this bogus rule by the wbts is.. i see my moms name on the caller id and i immediately pick up.
(keep in mind we live 2 blocks apart).
my mom says julia?, and i say no mom its me, you must have dialed the wrong number.. mom: oh, i'm sorry, how are you?

This one wedding I went these two sisters (literal sisters also) sang it acapella. It was very beautiful. I remember thinking if they were "worldly" they would be rich.. I mean they had such beautiful voices. Everyone loved to listen to them. Oh well another dream sucked down the watchtower drain!
Anyhoo, I was always thought it was so dramatic (no not romantic) and had more meaning than "worldly" wedding. How brainwashed is that!

Possible new (furry) addition to our family .......
by Alana inwell, as i posted in july, one of my doggies got ill and passed on over the
well, last friday morning gunner went outside and i could tell he was on a mission and smelled something out there.
he went to the back of the house and there he was herding a sad looking collie to our back door.

Great visit with my cousin/best friend yesterday....
by AK - Jeff inhe made an appointment with me to discuss pre-need funeral arrangements - he is a funeral director now.
i agreed and he came to my home for the first time since we left borgland three years back.
in fact he had never seen our home, since we moved in the meantime.. we discussed the business at hand and then spent several hours talking about my leaving the organization, his attitudes toward me and that, the un scandal, and a few other matters of that sort.

I'm also conflicted on if I should tell my best friend about my decision not to return to the KH. This weekend she was talking about how I need to comeback to the kindom hall. *sighs*
But she is a raised in the"truth" JW, so I think she will stop talking to me. On the other hand I already told my mother so I got a feeling she will know sooner or later, I just don't want her to hear a one-sided version.
