  my daughter has been 'going out' with a black gentleman for the last year.

  they are very much in love by the looks of things and have long term plans.. however, opposition has recently come from somewhere i did not expect.

  it turns out that he has been very upset with his mother since she made several unpleasant remarks to him.

  I thought the point of Gills story was that racism stems from ignorance. The guy didn't like blk's until his little girl married one. Found out blks were okay, decent people and now loves his beautiful mixed grandkids and son in law.

  cold calling exclusion zones are springing up across the uk as householders try to deter door-to-door callers, including the latest strain of doorstep "seller" - the charity fundraiser.. the town centre has become their roaming ground, but lately, or so it seems, those insistent young fundraisers known to many as chuggers - charity muggers - have moved from high street to side street..... .

  I wish my area was a cold calling exculsion zone. Someone is always trying to sell me the tribune or get me to buy candy bars for some lame school activity (drama, soccer, basketball, debate team). Enough already!

  after 33 years in the org.

  and swallowing everything hook line and sinker for absolute gospel and feeling dirty over nothing wrong.

  for me it was: "everyone believing in me will have eternal life" as spoken by jesus.

  Isaiah I:18- It goes something like " Come and let us make matters straight, say's Jehovah. Although your sins are scarlet they will become white like snow, though crimson they shall be like wool - something like that. That's a favorite of mines. Everytime I felt down and out about meeting up to all the WTS rules, I'd read that.

  things that used to bother me within the organization.. for example, the time that the organization use to.

  absorb, it seemed that i gave more than i received.

  Ditto Material Boy... I can't even watch a scary movie still, I'm so scared still.

  Also skirt length. I've seen many skirts and skirt suits that were just fine, but because they did not go below my knee when sitting, I was always made to feel like a big sinner or immoral for wearing them. Oh and having to wear nylons all the freakiing time!
