i just got bounced from the jw chat room on paltalk for discussing the pedophile issue.
it seems that the jws can only talk about this problem occurring in other churches (they were talking about the catholic's scandal) but when their religious organization is involved...watch out!.

i sent it to kent.
the only thing that kept me going was the thought of what my suicide would do to my children for the rest of their lives.
i finally got the courage to seek help for that depression, and im fine now.. alanf and gedanken (two of my good friends) helped me out, and i am most grateful for that.
wow Farkel,
You have really been through a lot. My guess is that it has made you strong in several ways not before felt. At any rate, I'm glad you are doing better.

Message in a Bottle: A Virtual Church for ex-Jehovah's Witnesses.
http://www.exjws.net/message/index.htm
This is for those who are leaving the Watchtower and still want to learn more about the Christian message, yet who are uncomfortable entering a church of Christendom. These "sermons" were given during my pastor days at Hope Chapel, from 1989 to 1991. These are designed to free you from bondage to fear and guilt, if you are still enslaved by such.
I will try to put up a new one on Real Audio each week. Only one is up at the moment, but if any are interested, check it out! The audience was about 40% ex-Witnesses. A few other features will follow in the days ahead, ideas are welcome.

there they were... three members of jehovah's one true holy earthly organization standing at a deserted corner of the shopping center at the corner of fourth and vineyard.
fifty feet away was a busy entrance to a ralph's supermarket, but they chose to stand in front of empty store fronts.
they were busy in conversation -- with each other.
I really think most Witnesses hate the witnessing work, they just do it to get all the other wondrous benefits. :-))

i was cleaning out some drawers and found this little note from the bethel family for me to say the morning prayer on jul 24th.
i left before i got to it.
:-)).
I would have prayed for Samuel Friend to stop feeding the pigeons. (Suiter hated that, saying at one time, "Those who feed the pigeons are not our friends.")

this is an interesting poll, and it is a preview of how many will view the witnesses when the truth about their hidden pedophilia comes out.
perhaps it will be worse for the witnesses, since most people do not like witnesses anyway!
all the more reason to close the door on them.. from .
plus, the Watchtower can't use the "gay priest" excuse like the Catholic Church is attempting. Most of the WT's cases appear to be female.

http://www.cnn.com/2002/US/05/02/priests.poll/index.html
(CNN) -- Most Americans -- and most American Catholics -- continue to hold a poor opinion of the Catholic Church's response to allegations of sexual abuse of minors by priests, a CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll has found.
Catholics strongly call for the church to remove someone from the priesthood after even a single proven incident of sexual abuse. They say the pope should remove Cardinal Bernard Law as head of the Boston archdiocese and feel the same way about any bishop or cardinal who had known of sexual abuse by a priest and moved him to another parish rather than reporting it to the authorities.
The results are from interviews with 1,002 adult Americans, including 212 Catholics, conducted April 29-May 1. The sampling error is +/- 7 percentage points.
