So is it something we can do and Jesus can't?

Monkyshine,
1 John 4:10
Yes, but doesn't this mean we are forgiven as long as we accept Jesus as our saviour and God as his father? We are still sinners and imperfect. Jesus asked his father to forgive them for torturing him, not from the act, but from the fact that we don't know the act is wrong.
There is a clause in that.
And he can control the fact that he loves us, but what about if we love him? That is our decision. He COULD make us but that would be breaking his own rules.
And yes, this is fun Freetosee.

She is a weirdo and I don't understand why people like her so much.
But plenty of her fans will say "Oh, that's just Rosie being Rosie. -ha ha"
Hopefully people have enough sense not to take her seriously.

God wanted for all mankind to be forgiven but all mankind will not repent so he can't (or won't)
And Jesus wants this but it is not up to him.
BTW--God wants to forgive all wrongdoers (which should include Satan) but Satan will never ask for it.--but I could be wrong

This is an only-one right-answer-riddle.
Okay what's the clue?

That's good but God didn't want to "force" devotion that is why he gave us free will.

God wanted exclusive devotion and Jesus wanted exclusive devotion FOR God.
