One FINAL POST on this one to clean up more of the same boring, laughable nonsense.
Poor Hilary, must like getting spanked. Cause he keeps asking for more. Ask and you shall receive...
How can you possibly quote part of what HS says and ignore the rest of his statement, and expect that any of us who can read, to take what you say with any seriousness...........is this is a trait left over from your jw experience."
Einstsin did not believe in any God at all?
Or, Einstein did not believe in any God, at least not in the "conventional" sense?
Big difference Hilary.
Folks, you just gotta love Hilary and his nonsense like this.
Poor Hilary.
So we can see right away vinny did not misquote Hilary. Them's the simple facts here. Sorry fifi but you should know this if you bothered reading it. Not a bad idea to try some time.
Well, by now anybody WITH EYES can see what Hilary meant by "it is just as well that we all know (((THAT EINSTEIN DID NOT BELIEVE IN ANY GOD)))"...
WHICH IS A LIE.
This was Hilary's "Slick Willy" move. And I busted him on it many times now. He tried to make it appear that Einstein did not believe in any God at all.
After a comma, (comma means pause) he then added the, "at least not in the conventional sense".
Hilary could have said, "but it is just as well that we all know that Einstein did not believe in the God of the bible or in the God of any specific organized religion".
But we see he did not say that. He instead said, but it is just as well that we all know that Einstein ((((did not believe in any God))))---then a pause--, "(((at least))) not in the conventional sense"
Which is dishonest and misleading the reader.
Because as "we all know" by now, Albert Einstein was NOT AN ATHEIST.
Like I saay many times....
Folks, you just gotta love Hilary.
Have a good one Hilary. No more Slick willie moves Hilary. Or you will be SPANKED again.
Over and out.

Einstein on God....Rare Letter At Auction
by hillary_step inthis rare letter gives us a good insight into the 'religious' views of einstein, oft quoted by mainstream religionists in the hope that they could glean from him some allusion to his belief in a conventional 'god'.. why his views on god or even the rear end of marilyn monroe would be of much interest has always eluded me, but it is just as well that we all know that einstein did not believe in any god, at least not in the conventional sense, so that defenders of the bible and a god free of sociopathy are not tempted to haul his einsteined majesty before the court of debate again.. http://www.ctv.ca/servlet/articlenews/story/ctvnews/20080513/einstein_letter_080513/20080513?hub=scitech.

Hilary REPOSTS his slick-willie line:..."Einstein did not believe in any God AT LEAST NOT IN THE CONVENTIONAL SENSE"
Mucho better Hilary. This clarifies things better. There is some hope for Hilary.
Einstein was NOT AN ATHEIST. (Fact of life in Einstein's own words)...
Einstein believed SOMETHING made the amazing things we see today. (Fact of life in Einstein's own words)...
That was a good link Burn posted about Einstein, btw. I enjoyed it and You should read it. Even if Burn just whined along the way...
Now, no more Slick Willie dance moves with flips and twists nonsense now, okay Hilary?
Otherwise you know what will happen. As it always does.
Have a great Wednesday Hilary.
All the best,
Vinny

Hilary says:..."You are of course a buffoon, and cheerfully incompetent in the field of criticial thinking."...and..."you once again to be an irksome intellectual gnat".
""but it is just as well that we all know that Einstein ((((did not believe in any God))))".....
**** You see poor ole Hilary also wants folks the believe that Einstsin did not believe in any God, and then he as he says any ((("conventional God"))). But what Hilary fails to grasp (bless his heart) is that for millions of people a conventional God is the One responsible for Creating the universe, earth and life upon the earth without any one specific religious affiliation.
Now Hilary, no more dancing with twists back flips and other neat tricks.
Folks you just gotta love it when atheists like Hilary try to throw Einstein in with their nonsense.
Einstein was not an atheist.
And that is that. -

Hilary could have simply said Einstein did not believe in a personal God, or any organized religion being being appointed by God.
But you see folks, Hilary had to try to spin the facts for his atheist nonsense by saying, "just as well that we all know that Einstein ((((did not believe in any God))))..."
Which is why we had to get out the paddle and do the spank thing.
And which is nothing new for Hilary.
Hey Burn, why not put up something of substance if you don't like what I wrote. Rather than crying about it.
Galilileo, I am no part of any organized religious institution. Perhaps find out what I believe today in regards to religion, rather than try to assume.
Hey Galilileo, Einstein was not an atheist. In print, quoted for you to enjoy.
And that is that.
End of story.

Just a few quotes from Hilary's posted article in his initial post:
"He apparently perceived a universe suffused with spirituality while rejecting organized religion." -

More dances with twists and backflips from Hilary.
(((I’m not an atheist.)))) I don’t think I can call myself a pantheist. The problem involved is too vast for our limited minds. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangement of the books but doesn’t know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God. We see the universe marvelously arranged and obeying certain laws but only dimly understand these laws.”
((((My position concerning God is that of an Agnostic)))). I am convinced that a vivid consciousness of the primary importance of moral principles for the betterment and ennoblement of life does not need the idea of a law-giver, especially a law-giver who works on the basis of reward and punishment."
Albert Einstein in a letter to M. Berkowitz, October 25, 1950; Einstein Archive 59-215; from Alice Calaprice, ed., The Expanded Quotable Einstein, Princeton, New Jersey: Princeton University Press, 2000, p. 216.

atheism |'a?e?iz?m| |?e??i'?z?m| |?e????z(?)m|
noun
the theory or belief that God does not exist.
Einstein (((DID NOT))) believe in Atheism. Atheism says that God does (((NOT EXIST))). Wake up Hilary and smell the coffee. Facts are facts. And facts cannot be danced away with flops and twists, try though as you may.
Einstein was not an atheist. His words not mine.
Einstein was agnostic. His words not mine.
Einstsin, not an atheist and being agnostic stated, "God does not play dice with the universe".
Not being an atheist, and being agnostic he believed that some kind of intellectual force was responsible for the things we see today.
TO MANY, THIS IS A "CONVENTIONAL" GOD. -

Poor Hilary. Is up to his normal nonsense. You guys are a hoot.
This proves nothing of the sort Hilary. Einstein did not believe in a "personal" God. He did not believe in the God of the bible. But Einstein did believe in some super natural intelligence being responsible for the cosmos. Want me to pull out all those Einstein quotes again for you?
Einstein was NOT an atheist, as was quoted in the article, and many articles around today. Einstein said he was not an atheist, not vinny. Get that?
Porr Hilary said:..."but it is just as well that we all know that Einstein did not believe in any God, at least not in the conventional sense"
Einstsin did not believe in any God at all?
Or, Einstein did not believe in any God, at least not in the "conventional" sense?
Big difference Hilary.
Folks, you just gotta love Hilary and his nonsense like this.

BillyBoy says:..."Jeez Vinny, I think your .02 is overpriced. "
That Better?
I have seen where people can spend too much time on this site (or any other similar kind of deal) and lose some balance in the process. Suggesting maybe to think about, or look at that more closely is not an attack Billyboy. Can actually be more of a kindness for them. Maybe they have not lost balance. Take it or leave it, it's up to them. But sharing such an opinion is reasonable and acceptable IMO.
My suggestion then to, "get a life", and to suggest, "Why not try other things? A little more balance might go a long way for you. Life has many opportunities for you to enjoy", sounds like a reply from somebody willing to take a few minutes that does care some.
I can offer such an opinion, because I have been where he is before on another site. Too much of anything can be a problem. Maybe it is, maybe not an issue for him. But I offered my point of view. If you don't like that, then too bad for you.
I have no problems if you think I was a little rough on oompa. It's one person's .02.
