  this has been an interesting week.

  early in the week my wife started corresponding with one of her old friends.

  he is no longer a witness and while i'm not sure what the catalyst was they started talking about why he left the witnesses.

  " for telling me to "keep my chin up.

  it seems right now is a rough patch and many are going through stressful times with these jw relatives and shunning and pressure.

  It seems right now is a rough patch and many are going through stressful times with these JW relatives and shunning and pressure. I am walking on egg shells so I don't say anything right now that will cause anybody grief. It is exhausting, especially, if anyone really knows me, I am ready to tell everybody everything about my stand and why.

  I didn't realize there was some drama here between then and now. It very hard to keep up with things here.

  So thank you...I will give you the same advice. "Keep your chin up...things will get better." (((Dawg)))

  Blondie...I love Tom Cabeen...I used to read him on CC and loved his reasoning on things. I am printing it out, taking myself out to dinner and reading it along with the other comments.

  You guys just rock! I want to commend everyone on this board for the support you give one another. It's an honor and privilege to be here (sniff). I hope I get to meet some of you some day.

  it's funny, cause i never thought i would do this.. not that i am engaged, or even dating anyone for that matter... but i *could*.. it's such a foreign concept to me... dating someone who isn't a witness.

  who doesn't understand all this.. i don't know why, but it does kinda scare me.

  i think that there are certain jw teachings that i will carry with me for a long time... and what if he doesn't get it?!.
