I wonder how much editing the WT is going to do on the numbers of the partakers that are turned in.
I'm wondering if there was a secret speech or a line on a form telling the counters not to count those they don't "think" are legit.
even with the change to "just domestics", i can't see the number going down.

last year, my last jw memorial, i listened to the talk as an outsider would.
the speaker strung unrelated texts together and for the first time, i saw that the interpretations made no sense.
afterward, i had a private memorial with homemade unleavened bread and wine with four people--three of whom partook.
This will be my eighth year to miss. The prior two only went because of mom. Eight years ago she was in a nursing home and in a lot of pain, and I sat with her while she listened by phone. I remember thinking..."yeah...won't be doing this again...ever."
i think i'll go to my favorite`watering hole and help "celebrate" tonight's festivities.. what are you doing this evening?.
anyone going to the "lord's evening meal"?.
.
DWTS!

kelle lee jarka has already been convicted of murdering his wife, isabelle, but the murrieta man will make his case to a national audience as part of a 20-20 segment scheduled to air friday.. the abc news program will air at 10 p.m.. its a very intriguing story, said jeffrey diamond, lead producer for the segment, in a telephone interview wednesday.. diamond said 20-20 officials had been following the case for more than a year and decided that the circumstances warranted a closer look, given that there was no physical evidence linking jarka to the killing, although there were mounds and mounds of circumstantial evidence.. it was one of those rare instances where someone was convicted of this type of crime and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, and the case was almost inclusively circumstantial evidence, he said.. on a preview video posted on the shows web site, jarka can be seen on a video with his wife, both smiling as they celebrate a special occasion shortly after they were married nearly 20 years ago.
I believe the court did not grant the elder ecclesiastical privilege because they share the information with anyone in the hierarchy.
Its a horribly sad story.
and to think i was told that armageddon would be here before i was 13!.
happy birthday heather .
Happy Birthday Heather!!! So glad you can partay now!!!
isn't this guy like the greatest anti-hero of all time?.
as the series wears on it is getting more and more difficult to sympathise with the guy.
but i must admit i stuck with him pretty far.
When he started manipulating Jesse I started to lose empathy for Walt. He has played that hand masterfully with Jesse. Jesse is who I am rooting for.
Also, Skylar is a complex character. Love her/hate her. She was in an impossible position, then she turned into something she never thought she would be from her affair, to money launderer, and so understandably cold.
The episodes are amazing. Rewatching them you get more and more. I agree, the camera work is fantastic. I know I need to watch again.
BTW, I just did a marathon streaming of "The Wire." So many people recommended it, and Swedish friends said it was the best series ever, which I thought was odd... Finally, with HBOGO, you can stream the whole series. It is an amazing show. Took me a while to get into it, but was hooked.
any fans of the show enlightened.
i liked the character laura dern plays in enlightened.
i like her as an actor, from here early work with david lynch and also nicolas cage.. laura's character, amy jellicoe, reminds me of us in our journey, sometimes more emotional than intellectual in the reaction to abuse and injustice but a fighter who will put the right nuance on an argument eventually.
It was a thoughtful series. On NPR I heard an interesting story by the creator, who is also the actor that plays her coworker Tyler.

i witnessed the cleansing of the heavens in the year 2004, like the birth pains of a women, or nine years........ an increase of lawlessness, the economic downfall, the trials and tribulations of the faithful and discreet are being fulfilled as we speak.......prepare for the return of jesus christ........and every eye shall see him........ the slave of jah and of christ....... estephan.
Didn't you have a website...as Stephan?
At least he can tango.
i was studying spanish a little while ago - had to stop because of finances but became friends with the spanish teacher and we keep in touch, see each other now and again.
i just got a message from him:.
"hola louise, i would like to talk to you about 2 things, about the jws, as we are following this fatih, we find it interesting, we haven't been baptised yet, i want to make sure before making a mistake and the other thing that allan and i wold like to talk about is starting your own business.....".
I forgot! One of the things that is important to everybody EXCEPT JW's, education and extracurricular school or sport activities. If these people are educated and have children, they need to know this is MORE than discouraged. They may not be expelled, but they and their children could be marked and shunned for participating in sports, music, theater...anything and everything that could interfere with "theocratic activities."
That would be a deal breaker for most people in these modern times. If they are in disbelief, they should watch the youtubes out there with the GB going off on education.
