My decision to openly greet df persons in the hall

at the moment i am still going to all the meetings (for family reasons).. we have at the moment 1 df person who regularly comes (already df for 1.5 years).. when i opened him the door i always greeted him but in the hall i didn't as others could see it.. now i decided that my conscience can not bear this any longer.

i will greet him also in the hall or when others are around.. if any elders notice it and talk to me, i tell them my conscience does not allow to not greet that person.. did any of you do that too and have some experiences?.

I always greeted df'd ones, usually told them "nice to see you" when I saw them at the meeting. Elders never said a word. I also talked at length with a well known df'd elder at his grandsons funereal. Elders never said a word.

LOU REED - r.i.p. (a special memory)

i've always loved lou's music.... hearing about his death this am makes me remember when my little family was on the run.

i was a 'visible' elder in my community, so when we got 'free' mentally, we took a choice available to us that, sadly, some don't have.

we disappeared...just relocated to another town.. listening to 'a perfect day' by lou reed reminds me of those first few months...walking through one of the big city parks on cold sundays...both of us beaten and bruised and still in shock.

Same here OTWO! I cherish out friendship. We are planning on next year in Tahoe. Wish you were with us also.

Just lovely lovely people all around....a great take-away. Being in a cult does such a head trip on you; and not the fun kind. Great to be able to sort things out with people in the same boat.

Tonight I'm going to see some old friends I met from this forum. As I posted a comment on FB, xJW's from all over the world started chatting. Canary Islands, UK, AZ, UT, IL, IN, WA to start and more before the day is through. It made me verklempt as I thought about it. We do have our own brotherhood here...

We see each other's photos, hear about our families and our days...and chances are we will never meet face to face. But we are family just the same. It's a beautiful thing that would not have happened if not for JWD/JWN.

Clearly this guy is a new convert, or a DF'd zealot whose only means to contribute "theocratically" is to set apostates straight. There is no experience in his words; doesn't know how things have worked for years...only what is written in the literature.

Give it another 5 years and they will be force building the same KH's again and collecting the payments from the same people. Poor kids. The RBC is a scam.
