That would be so awesome!

to all those who frequent this discussion board:.
we just wanted you to know that an investigative public radio program named reveal, produced by cir (center for investigative reporting) and prx, will present today, saturday, february 14th, the results of new investigations uncovering hidden stories.
in this weeks story, there will be three different topics covered.
I can't forget that elder's face that was deposed when he was asked about protecting children and he responded they had a "spiritual" responsibility. He said it, and he looked like he swallowed a turd afterward as the perhaps the idiocy of that statement that just left his lips sank in.
I hope some of these clips go viral...like the yoga pants did.
If anyone has even one inkling that this organization care a hoot about any human being, they are delusional. All answers and actions are solely to protect the corporation.
Did anybody bring this to the attention of PBS news, or did they just find it as investigative reporting? It was a really good segment. Felt sad they are so evil...but they are and we all know it.
sorry, cant figure out the embed code - maybe you can fix it simon?
thanks.. .

been away from the site for a few days...because i have been busy getting these!!!!!!
(pixel, thank you!
) they did not make it easy, plus technical difficulties.. for the main attraction:.
Fascinating. From a corporation standpoint, the changes are smart for the building work. I live in the LA area and not once have I hear there is a "critical" "acute" need for 131 KHs. Yes there are some that service multilingual groups. I don't see how the new design changes anything.
Thanks for posting. Really interesting.
Edited to add...I think I need a drink.
i can't think of any chronology that has not been changed.
even their "absolute" dates are suspect.
LOL Outlaw!
Min, that's one of the questions I kept asking JW friends for a few years before I left. "Just give me one thing uniquely JW they got right." Crickets.
this my friends will help in a long struggle that me and my girlfriend are having.........does the toilet paper unravel over or under.
thank you for your cooperation on this timely matter...
i'm literally speechless on this.
mixed between a big wth, rofl, dumbest thing ever made, and shock that wt actually made this and is taking it seriously!

alert..............alert.....breaking news .......... john cedars of jwsurvey has pranked called governing body member anthony morris iii at bethel .
over 2 minutes of pranking .
as i type he is editing the recording into a video .
It's never been a secret how to call a member at Bethel. I can't imagine why Cedars thought it would be.
That's the best he could come up with. Wow. Big deal. He tricked a guy who just picked up his phone. Isn't he special. He's so embarrassing.
Agree with notsosurewheretogo. I have a JW friend who just left the org. We were talking about something and she mentioned Cedars site. I can't remember quite her comments but they were something to the affect that there is something not quite right there. I never ever said a word to her about any of the crazy stuff that has gone on with Cedars and AAWA. I just told her people are all at different stages, and the world is big enough for all types of exJW's, and at least he has the freedom to be who he wants to be. That's about all I can say...
i'm putting my video skills to good use.
enjoy, my fellow bretheren.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zuruwnpwpe0.
Very cute. I like yours much better. I mean "the little trolley with a big heart." Sigh.
one cant help but notice all of the dramatic changes thathave been happening to the organization.
this is not the religion that i grewup in.
im not saying that the religion that i grew up in was better, justdifferent.
Quite honestly, most of us were complaining that the WT was not making changes and were out of date in almost everything. And rightfully, change is good because it should represent examination and acknowledgment of need to change or improvement.
What cannot ever be ignored is this is a corporation, a business. All decisions are made to keep the corporation/business afloat. That is all it is. New look, new marketing plan to keep the interest of the faithful so that they can think what they are doing is relevant.
The old folks, like me, find this new branding really odd...I sure didn't see this coming. But gotta hand it to them...it's SLICK!. They are distancing themselves from the past.
I thought it was so interesting one of the threads here about a discussion with a 30 something JW, and all she could say is "go to jw.org and all your questions will be answered.
It's amazing. Really amazing.
