whenever we visit the board we see a lot of angst among jehovah's witnesses who are just learning the tatt (the truth about the truth).

hey, don't feel bad, we had it at one time ourselves.

"angst means fear or anxiety (anguish is its latinate equivalent, and anxious, anxiety are of similar origin).

It is the "best of times and the worst of times" as mentioned. But it gets better and better as you get stronger and stronger in your own self worth.

The exJW community is just the best. I communicate in the very least weekly with many, of course Facebook makes that easy to keep in touch. We still meet up when we can.

I have a best friend who just left JW 6 mths ago. While her mate goes to the meeting we plan an adventure. We were going to a museum a few weeks ago, then I thought, let me contact an exJW family I know nearby and maybe they can meet us for a bite. Well they wanted to and we did...never made it to the museum and talked for 5 hours. She came home and said "I can't believe I talked for 5 hours to people I never met before."

I can't emphasize enough how healing it is to meet your fellow exJW's. Come to Tahoe!! We have cookies and champagne! (BA2 and 3rdgen ) Just made my hotel reservation...need to work out the details.

basically they admit to teaching the rapture (for the anointed remnant), just don't call it that!.

They started the verbiage in the late '90's. I asked a few elders...this is the rapture...or everybody is going to be on a bus...or the plane will go down.... No answer.

DC2015 New Release: Brochure "Return to Jehovah" for those who faded/left

it appears that a new 16-page brochure, with the title "return to jehovah" is to be released at the regional convention (dc) this year.

it would be written specifically for those faded or da/df.chapters are:a letter from the governing body1.

the lost one i will search for2.

They make an "appearance" they care for people...children, couples, elderly, the sick...and now the faded.

It's easy to print an article/brochure or make a cartoon telling their readers how much they love and care for others but the truth lies in the actions.

The whole world is seeing how little the WTBS cares and fining them handsomely for it.

I was invited the first time in YEARS!!! Big cheese from Bethel giving the talk, David Ianelli, Writing Committee...at least he used to be. He really is a good speaker...probably one of the best around.

But no not going evah! Last one was in 2004, and only went for my mom. It's the worst meeting of the year. I met with some exJW's this last weekend and they said they went last year just to observe if anything had changed. They said people were distracted, using their Ipads etc. He felt the majority was not interested in the discourse at all.

15 Years of Jehovahs-Witness.com

yes, today is the forum's 15th birthday!.

i never thought for one moment that it would survive this long or have so many people post so many great subjects over the years.. it is still humbling when i get pm's or emails from people expressing how the site has helped them and of course thanks goes to all the posters who have shared their experiences and make helpful and supportive comments to others who are in the sometimes difficult process of learning the real truth about 'the truth'.. the site has gone through several different incarnations over the last 15 years running on different platforms, different databases and different hosts but we've been able to keep all the old topics.

the current site is still being developed and i'm hoping to push another major upgrade soon.. i also may have some other news to share soon about the future of the site so stay posted.. until then, here's the the next 15 years!

Thank you Simon and Ang for providing this "home." It means a lot. I was scared and obsessed with the conversations going on 10-13 years ago...amazed there was a place to have such discussions. I also have met some of my best friends from this site, from all over the world.

And as the legacy continues, yesterday I had the pleasure to introduce a newly exited JW to some of my friends I met here. It was their very first meeting with exJW's, and df'd at that. A HUGE step. They were amazed how easy it was to talk for hours with people they never met before. The bringing people together is a great legacy for JWD/JWN.

i was at a criminal trial all day in murfreesboro, tn, involving the notorious jw who i call "mommy molester," angela montgomery.

this is the reason i didn't know until this evening that the nightline program with the segment on jws was changed until tomorrow night.

(i forgot my phone.

Kendrick's wife said "he paid for that crime." That would be the 7 month prison sentence for the crime of molesting her own granddaughter. "Thanks grandma." The interviewer looked at the camera when she said that...it was like "I can't believe she just said that!"

I hope this goes viral. AGain well done.
