  Stem cells - Watchtower position

  does anyone know the wt's position on medical treatment using stem cells?

  i don't even know how to go about finding out this information.

  if anyone could tell me where to look or what the current position is by the society, i am most appreciative.. i would like to recommend the treatment to a jw relative, but don't want to get involved in an argument if it is forbidden.

  Hello all,

  Does anyone know the WT's position on medical treatment using stem cells? I don't even know how to go about finding out this information. If anyone could tell me where to look or what the current position is by the society, I am most appreciative.

  I would like to recommend the treatment to a JW relative, but don't want to get involved in an argument if it is forbidden. I believe the stem cells come from clinics, (could be an issue), and are mixed with blood drawn from the body and infused back into the body, also could be an issue.

  So many rules I couldn't care less about, but if it is conscience matter, I would like to at least tell them about it.

  Ok Coco, you have me in tears.

  Recent occurrences have left me sad, annoyed, frustrated, angry... I wish sometimes I could be more unfeeling like these JW's I know. But that's wrong...having feelings is what led me out of that cult, thankfully.

  as of the 9th of june, me and my dear wife mrs. eden handed over our letters of disassociation at bethel in portugal, thus making official our departure from the jehovah's witnesses.

  I remember street witnessing. Approaching people as we walked down the street as well as people waiting in cars. None of this namby pamby sitting on a bench outside Starbucks holding a set of mags. No sireee!

  I guess I can't blame them for trying to get their time in. It's just the arrogance and superior attitude that they are better/more spiritual than virtually everybody else that gets me!!

  Oh dear.

  They think they are soooo important with such an important message! Quite a comfy arrangement...lawn chair, under a tree, very little foot traffic, no trolley to be responsible for.

  They are prob aux pioneers trying to make their time.
