Anyone else feel guilty about bringing others into the "truth", once you have learned TTATT ?

i guess this is not so much about guilt, per se, but more so if you feel an obligation to reveal what you now know about ttatt, to those who you have studied with, taught the "truth" to, and are still in the borg ?.

i am sure most of us, after learning about the evils, and lies perpetrated by this organization, must feel some sort of guilt for being the catalyst in "exposing" others to the cult.

honestly, i feel none of us should actually, feel guilty though.

In love with a JW girl

i was in a relation with a jw girl for almost three years(im am not jw) and we are so inlove with each other until someone saw us from her congregation and she was disfellowed and that where the oddness happened.

her family and friends are not talking to her anymore, she wants me to stop seeing and talking to her anymore not until i became a baptized jw.

Trolley cart "witnessing" is getting ridiculous

i really fail to see how much actual "witnessing" is occurring with the trolley carts.publishers, usually pioneers, just stand or sit there not engaging anyone and count their time.. the only thing i notice that it's accomplishing is brand exposure for jw.0rg so the public is exposed to the logo and literature/poster card headlines.. take for example this "evening" witnessing by a pioneer elder while on summer holiday/vacation.. .

is this not a wth kinda moment when you consider the years of slaving, knocking on doors, business territory and bible studies we had to keep performing so we weren't branded a "weak" publisher?.

The sad/disgusting part is how overly righteous they feel by doing this "work" as opposed to all the "worldly people" they hope will shortly be destroyed. And the "work" is basically nothing, nada, zilch...no effort on their part.

The WBTS is selling them a fantastic line of BS. And they willingly obey because they want the pet tiger and mansion for all their "faithful and work."

I don't know what I'm getting all worked up about...they deserve each other.

Edited to add, Farkel started this thread which was initially about Berta Peale, a traveling companion and "dietitian" for Rutherford. It morphed into quite an investigation of the cast of characters surrounding da Judge during his presidency of the WBTS.

I've just spend some time over the past few days re-reading this thread. When it first posted I was still warily looking at JW material on the internet, and this site we are all on now scared the beejeebers out of me! But...I could not look away. So many knowledgeable people and fascinating threads. It's all here folks...anything and everything you ever wanted to know about JW's and more.

This is a masterful thread...amazing insight and information of the past. So many contributors. I miss Leo. Read anything and everything by her. She is amazing. I know she has gone on to wonderful things in her life.

Woman's Purpose

i'm probably going to say some things here that will disappoint many.

there are some that may look back over the years and say "man i really blew it" i'm not writing the following to scold for failures, but rather to help those who are young enough to put into practice what god wills for their life, and also to those of us who are in our middle years that still have time to change some things, in order to please god and find a peace that only being in his will can bring.

first let me say that god didn't create man for you.
