  How do we set up a "Used New Bike Fund" for Terry?

  is there any way we can try to start a crowd-fund to help terry get some wheels quicker than he currently can?

  with craigslist and a couple of bucks from a few members we can help terry get moving.

  does anyone have any ideas how we can do a "theists for terry" bike fund raiser and challenge the atheists to a bucket-head challenge?

  i was baptized at the age of 11. like most of us, my commitment wasnt to honor god but rather i was gang pressed into the service of the wtbts.

  and, at such a young age, it was impossible for me to appreciate the enormity of my actions.

  honestly, how could i possibly have known any better?

  The frustration of talking to a person with a closed mind

  okay, this is going to be a bit of a general rant.

  i had a long conversation with a jw elder recently about shunning and evolution.

  i became qunite frustrated with the conversation and admitted this at the time.

  I feel your frustration. You cannot argue with faith. There are some masterful arguements on this site, one most memorable regarding the flood...wish I could find it again. In the end, you could see the only defense was "I believe..."

  What jgnat said about find one point and directing it toward the natural mind is excellent. As much as your mind is spinning about facts, I have found it effective to address something that reaches out to their emotion or feeling, sense of injustice. You never know what will stick.

  i'm sitting here listening to google music (which is great btw) and decided to put one of bob dylans newer albums on.. oh mercy.

  Great album Simon. Love love love "Most of the time."

  Strange, thinking that's a 'recent' album...and it's 25 years old/young! His words kill me.

  I saw him a few times in the last 10 years. Once time he was just playful as can be and you could understand everything he sang. Another time it was harder. Now that I think about it, the second time we were in the same arena as the DC/RC...in nosebleed seats...maybe that has something to do with it. Always a good show with great musicians.

  i sent the description to them with a link to additional information.. however, from a jw/exjw perspective, i would like your assistance to build a list of the various conficting thoughts perpetuated by the wtbs that creates this condition.

  your best is enough vs you are not doing enough

  God loves you vs if you don't do more then god will destroy yuo

  God loved the world so much he gave his son... vs you are no part of the world

  We are on a roll here. Can't go into more detail but it is very exciting for me, and them.

  Your thoughts are very much appreciated...
