  I Missed Memorial - First time in 30 years! Thanks to you!

  last year i turned up to make everyone happy.......but this year i just could'nt force myself to go.

  some witnesses called on the day to "encourage" us to go....my mum called to make sure i go.....but i just couldn't put my tie on!

  after being on this site for awhile i feel like i have moved on.

  Yes, I too have taken the Memorial at home with wine and matzo. Read some Bible versus. That was last year, but this year, again, what was up with it so close to "Easter" instead of Passover, when they normally have it??????????????

  WAIT...this is better

  Two sisters came by yesterday and I was outside, so I said to these 2 sisters (who I knew for years from all the meetings, etc.) "Oh, you brought me my invitation to the memorial" and they said "No, that is over already" and I said (Being out of the truth now for 2 plus years after 40 in and out)

  "what can you mean, It is always on the full moon on or about Passover."

  So what's up with that? Can anyone tell me why the memorial (Not that I was going) was on such an early date this year. This is a first to me and again I have experience for 40 years.

  Anyway, these two sisters never regognized me. And they were friends!!! They had come by with the invite to the talk they always have after the memorial (ABOUT ARMEGEDDON)

  So they asked me if I knew who the ruler of this world was and I said Satan. They said "ANYDAY NOW", It was not the day to argue with them so I took literature, looked it over and said "Oh, yeah, all the preachers on TV are saying that, but not till 2012 or 2018. Can't they see that sooooo much has to happen first???? Of course they are not allowed to view anything "Apostate" so they are still in they're little cult world and nothing has changed. One day, I will get out the 4 pages I typed with rebuttals and questions that they will never be able to answer. LOVE TO ALL

  December 25th for Christmas from Paganism?

  i know i've heard this a lot...that the december 25th date for christmas was borrowed from paganism.

  i just came across this article which argues against that:.

  If Adam did not sin, would humans have lived forever on earth?

  the new testament talks consistently of a heavenly hope, not an earthly one and the idea that humans are to live forever on earth is not supported scripturally at all.. however, what would have happened if adam and eve had not sinned.

  the watchtower likes to make the point that it is only sin that caused adam and eve to die.

  romans 5:12 that is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned.. what do christians believe regarding this scripture?

  Well, there was this Emporer of King or someone like that who picked the day of Dec. 25th to celebrate Christ's birthday on the calender.

  Just about everyone knows by now(Including all the Theologins) that Christ was born somewhere between August and October being that the shepards were tending the're flocks. NOT IN DECEMBER!

  Most Witnesses Don't Know the "Current Truth" on Matthew 5:5!

  matthew 5:5: "happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.".

  if you ask most witnesses what this verse means, they will say that it means those who are meek/mild/humble will be given the earth as a reward to live forever on.

  i was surprised to find out that this is not the official watchtower teaching of that verse.

  There are soooo many scriptures the Witnesses don't interpret correctly because THEY are not the chosen. They put way too much time into indoctrination and ignoring you're questions (Or in my case lying about them). Shame
