  did any of you watch this mini-series??

  i found it quite interesting and am now reading the book.

  so far the book has a bit more insight than the movie, but after reading reviews and such, found out that this was done purposely to give the viewers more insight as to how little the men were informed about their objectives.

  What Should I Do???

  my mom, a jw, tells me of her friend from the kh(who i know pretty well, nice lady) whose daughter has decided to move out with a "worldly" guy.

  she is only 17 and has some post secondary education ahead of her (her parents are quite supportive of the education just not the "outsider" b/f).

  more of a "know of her" scenario.. my mom told me that her parents have told her that if she is going to see this guy that they have to set an example for her 4 younger siblings and she would have to decide between the family or the guy...basically if you want to be with him you have to leave.

  We're Finally Home!!!

  hope you all had a terrific weekend!!

  amy was discharged on tuesday late afternoon and she's doing great.

  when she was discharged we were still waiting for the anti-seizure meds to be completely out of her system, which was really the only thing that was keeping her in the hospital.

  i just recently recently received this email (yet again) but seeing as i am a "transplanted canucker" now living in the u.s., this struck me as alot more funny now because of interactions with my new american friends .

  just a question to satisfy my own curiosity.... do atheists believe in christmas or easter???.

  i always thought that real staunch atheists didn't because of the jesus involvement in these holidays....anyone know?
