At the jail I work at the inmates call me cracker.
I dont get it. So I give them cheese crackers.

i'm curious, because in my 40's i felt like a million dollars.
i am starting to feel it,....i just don't have the stamina of working in the yard all day, coming in making dinner and getting the laundry done at the same time, or working full time.. i see the years in my face when i don't get enough sleep, and no amount of makeup makes a difference.
my eyes seem to always look tired.
restrangled if you want to learn how to play the guitar go to google type in words and
chords to ---------- song. Song of your choice.
Then you will have the words and chords.
If they dont tell you there how to play the chords google guitar chords.
Then put your fingers where the chord chart requires and start strumming and singing.
After you do that to about 50 songs, you will be a guitar player of sorts.

I'm 57 and I agree with you restrangled.
I'm trying for a job promotion and the first step is I have to run a mile and a half in
15 minutes. I could do it at 50, but right now I can only do a mile and a quarter in 15
minutes. I am giving myself 30 days to train for the test, i think I will make it as I
am only on day 4 of my training.
I die my hair, have been for some time at least I still have all my hair.
I dont look anything like I did when i was 20 or 30, but a lot of people dont.
I go to the gym and work out 5 days out of 7 and I dont have any aches an pains.
When I have had to stop in the past due to injuries I start to ache.
I am 5'10" and weigh 200lbs When I was 50 I weighed 180. I dont eat or drink as
much as I used to by a long shot but I cant loose the 20lbs. I'm not fat
and thinner than 95% of the people I work with. But I think I would be healthier, lighter.
My blood pressures good 120 over 75 but I do take cholesterol medication since I've
been 50.
I can pretty much do everything that an average 20 year old can do. The jail I work at
choose me to train all the new recruits teaching them hand to hand combat and defensive
tactics and i go hands on with the 19 year old recruits and give as good as I get.
When I went to the police academy at 50, I pulled my hamstring and still I beat half the class
on the 2 mile run, limping.
But I am counting down the days to retirement at 62 mainly to have freedom to do what I want.
I got 4 years and 8 months to go.
i am really on the fence on this issue right now and would love some opinions.. i find that i dont sit down and read the bible for long periods since becoming inactive, but on the other hand, individual scriptures mean much more to me now.. i will sit down and look up some favorite passages from time to time and feel like its the first time i really "got it" - without the jw goggles on.
i love matthew chapter 23, since i think it describes to a tee the situation in jw congregations.
i think if jesus returned today, he would blast the elders and "leaders" of the borg in a similar fashion (along with most religious leaders) .matthew 24 is actually more interesting to me now, simply because my whole life was waiting for the 1914 generation to end sometime during the reagan era!
One thing I found from all my bible reading along with all my non biblical reading is
much of the old testament came from myths form Summeria. Summeria was the first
civilization known to man also refered to as the begining of civilization.
The story derived from the Sumerian text is that we are the children of astronauts
from Planet Niberu.
I always wondered where we came from. Zechariah Sitchin has written a number of books
on this subject, Michael Tillinger presents Sitchins work in "Slave Species of God"
I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in what the most anicient text
that inpired the old testatment have to say.

When I left the tower back in 83 after being in for 31 years from birth, I decided
to read the bible cover to cover and see what it said to me. I ended up reading
it 5 times different translations never the nwt.
I made notes, and put them in catergories.
The theme I found in the bible that appeared most often
was predestination. God wrote a book made a story and its all
unfolding and we are characters in it.
Our part has been written and we have to play it and we cant change it.
Nowadays I will read my bible for a couple hours a week and I also read
daily inspirational verses.
I have read a lot of atheistic literature, I read a lot. I know many think the bible
is a lot of myths. There has deffinitely been a shadow of doubt cast on the book.
Still I find encouragement in the book to make my way through life.
I find wisdom and truth where ever it appears and try to benefit by it.
For example the non biblical fairy tale of the 3 little pigs has wisdom, Build your house
out of brick not straw.
i liked the way he thought.
what author would you have liked to know?.
Since you already took Clemens, I'll take Hemmingway.
if all jw are so holy and righteous, why do 70,000 to 100,000 get disfellowshipped each year?
in 10 years, that would be 700,000 to 1,000,000.df for causing sectarian divisions, misleading, treating lightly the preaching work, rejecting god's representatives(gb) and his visible org.so what are they going to do to these df'er.. b.
If everyone was a JW, there would be no war because JW's dont join the military.
As far as 70,000 to 100,000 getting DA'd a year to me that is proof they run a tight ship
and enforce their standards.
Personally, I dont have a problem with that.
I just dont believe the JW's have or are the truth. 1976 convinced me, I lived through that.
And it altered my life.
Nowadays, they are trying to recruit people who dont know about 1975, and who wont believe the truth
about what happened. They have created their disinformation and blame 1975 on the rank and file,
which is one more evidence to me that they are a bunch of liars and dont have the truth.
is samuel hard's appointment to gb, an attempt of jw to fight off racial accusation?
why is that the majority of 144000 are only white people?
if the 144000 is an equal representation of all people from the earth, how about the chinese?
I work in a jail. Detention officers say among ourselves.
White people are crazy, black people are just bad.
That sums up why there may be more whites who are of the 144,000.
White people are crazy.
Also The wactowr is a 20th century religion based in the USA.
For most of the 20th Century Whites were the majority in the US.
Now, with Jehovahs witnesses being like Scientology for Blacks,
There will probably be more blacks claiming to be anointed,
Which means there will be more crazy blacks.
Obama opened the way for equality.
if you had to sum up your current thoughts on the wts/jw experience what word/phrase would you use?.
anger?.
confusion?.
Anger, They stole the best years of my life.
And the big shots in brooklyn knew they were full of shxt and using us.
