But thats where those who have deluded you want you to be.

And in many parts of the world thats called nomal.

I listened to the book on tape back when it first came out and watched the movie several years ago.

My impression was I enjoyed the book. I found the book inspiring at the time but that was back in the 90's.

Some people will like it and some people will say he is another religious quack trying to make a buck.

could you please recommend a good company/plan that deals with the self-insured?.

I started my working life in 1973 with Kaiser health insurance, I was a roofing subcontractor and had to buy my own

health care it was 100$ a month for me my wife and son, and it covered everything no deductables.

Gas was 32 cents a gallon, you could buy a new VW beatle for 1800$.

Then I started hearing talk that the rich were going to destroy the middle class and its been all down hill ever since.

I work for the state now people can buy family plans for about 175 a month but I hear when they use it they still owe the

hospitals and doctors 10,000$.

The insurance companies and US government owned by the insurance companies have pulled a Mark Twain, Tom Sawyer on

the American people.

If the bible is god's handbook for man, why is it such gobbledegook?

i don't mean the basic moral code of behavior (that many non biblical lands also just happen to have) that people use to model their lives, but the 'deeper' stuff.... assuming that god has had his divine plan for vindicating himself etc ever since he figured that adam may screw up, and he needed to let faithful mankind know the 'plan' and how to survive it all.... why is the important stuff all gobbledegook?.

the time frame, prophecy, signs and so on are all so obscure that even the cleverest theologians can't understand it or agree on it.

the 'truth' is so muddled and juggled up that every understanding can be logically challenged with an equally challengable one.

The bible all points to Jesus and if you believe in Jesus you have eternal life.

Keep it simple.

Its the best deal in town.

John 14:6 Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life.

You can take the gobbledegook and say it points to Jesus and eternal life.

Or you can take it and say there is no God.

No God no Peace. KNow God Know Peace.

Thats pretty much what God said through the Apostle Paul in the book of Romans. So consider yourself blessed, now you know

you can either accept it or move on.

I dont think the evolutionist offer a better deal.

Let me clarify I have been out of the tower since 83, What I believe about God and Jesus is biblical and has nothing to do

with the JW's.

REad the new testament.

The old testament points to Jesus the New testament tells about Jesus.

...not to mention unreasonable?.

i remember telling my mom when i was about 7 that i didn't want to die (it seemed to me that time was speeding down the track and i was fast headed for the grave) and she said..."don't worry, that won't happen for a long time.".

her response was honest, but i found that honesty unnerving.. i felt as if she'd just said to me--- "yes dear son, you are sitting on a powder keg, and yes the fuse is lit, but enjoy your ice cream cone.
