Non-evidence reasons why people embrace Evolution.

evolutionists always claim that the reason why they believe in evolution and reject creation is due to "evidence".

they frequently use the opposite term "no evidence" in relation to any type of intelligent design, or creation, (and especially to genesis creation and flood history !).

their advocated beliefs always tend to include whatever is necessary to believe in to intellectually "explain" the existence of the universe, world, and its creatures without needing god).

This whole issue involves semantics.

I can tell everyone is not on the same page.

Myself I believe in a young biblical earth under 10,000 years old probably 5 to 6,000 years if you do the math back to Adam.

I also believe in evolution.

Evolution is change. Things change, the the word adaptation in some circles is used instead of evolve.

God made bacteria and life to adapt for lots of reasons, bacteria and scavengers adapt to clean up and maintain

the earth. And all life adapts/ evolves to survive on this earth.

I believe in evloution but I believe God made Adam and EVe to look like 30 year olds, he made dogs, lions, tigers, birds etc

and they all adapt to their enviroment. The popular way of expressing this adaption is evolution. I belive God made

the universe less than 10,000 years ago and he made it to look like its old, God spoke it into being and it has an apparent

age just like adam and eve. If god made the univers big 7,000 years ago it would look big because of the math.

Thats how I answer the question of what came first the chicken or the egg. The chicken came first.

I'm ok with the self professed intellectuals rolling their eyes and disparaging my views.

Thats what makes a horse race everybodys got a different oppinion.

I know there are books written by scientist that explain the fossil record from a young earth flood perspective.

THere are many scientific writings to support a young biblical earth. But that is not the popular view.

THe world lies in the power of the wicked one, and many people when they get a little education

or money dont need God. THats the way it is. Its called pride. THat's what the Devil was full of.

Its a matter of what one wants to believe, and what one wants to believe would place the person in one of the catagories

of why people embrace evolution or believe in the bible.

If you choose to believe the bible for whatever reason the bible speaks of a young earth and says adam and eve and the animals

were made to look like animals they didnt evolve from tadpoles. Also the bible says you cant be queer and you cant live

in sin out of wedlock so when someone mocks someone who believes in the bible those are a couple of factors you can check out.

THe bible also says not to be Greedy or love money. Amerika is a very greedy, materialistic society its no wonder that many

have no use for God or the bible.

If you choose not to believe in the bible then you can believe anything you want to make up.

you spent months,years or even decades as a christian.you sacrificed everything for god,gave him everything you had,you would speak every day for him to others and would live as a person dedicated to god.what did you receive in return after all your efforts?did he help you when you were in need?if yes,are you 100% sure that he was the one who helped you?could you feel his holy spirit in your life?.

p.s:this topic has nothing to do with the org.

i am talking exclusively about god and your relationship with him.

I have known Gods power at least 3 times in my life, dealing with big life changing issues.

And just about every day in everyday issues.

I cant be 100% sure no one can.

But I will say if there is no God, then thinking and acting like there is a God can have

a very positive affect on ones life.

I have never sacraficed everything for God.

I have never given him everything I have had.

Still, God has blessed me.

If you have sacraficed everything to God and given him everything you have, that could be

your problem.

You dont know God. God doesnt want your sacrafice, he doesnt want your things he wants you to have faith in him.

Man benefits and is blessed by believing in God. I dont know if God gets anything out of it. Or I dont know how to describe

what he gets out of it.

Especially if there is no God, God cant get anything out of it.

But people do get blessed because they have faith. I have been blessed. I know lots of people who tell me they are blessed.

That makes me think there is a God.

From what I see being good doesn't get you into heaven and being bad doesn't send you to hell.

Believing or disbelieving in God is the key to your eternity.

Quantum physics is the scientific discipline that explains the theory.

Quantum physics is a science a lot like evolution, it is always followed by the word

theory and the bagage that the word theory entails.

I have moments of doubt about my atheism and I have moments of doubt about my faith.

When it comes to my existence as a 21st century human in the information age, I am bi-polar.

Back in the 20th century, before the internet, I wasnt bipolar, I just had belief and faith.

If there is no God, I do agree that belief is an evolutionary adapation to keep me from going crazy because I realize I am going to die

soon, sometime between today and the next 30 years.

I was born in Cleveland, I grew up in 7-HIlls and went to Normandy High school.

I've been in Florida since 81.

I used to go to Cedar point and win more stuffed animals than I could fit in the car for the trip home. That was back in the 70's.

Wobble, I understand what your saying and I'm not belittling your intellectual position.

I take my hat off to atheist and all the intellectual work they have done to make the argument there is no God.

As a juror on this great issue of life, I find the scales pretty evenly ballanced and I use my faith to tip them

pro God, pro creation.

I know stereotypes are not always valid.

For some reason you have chosen not to see evidence for God.

God was at the kingdom hall. God was in the watchtower. God is in the bible.

God is everywhere. You can not get away from God.

God is in the Catholic Church. God is always chasing us, we cant get away from him.

This life is a journey, a trip with God.

Much of the evidence for God is the same evidence atheist use for proof there is no God.

The earths relationship distance from the sun, the tilt of its axis the seasons, the moon, gravity, the brain

conciousness, the eye. Bacteria changing, micro evolving, adapting, so that it can scavenge.

These things are all evidence of God, but you see it as evidence of no god.

Its a choice. You choose not to see it.

And I choose to see it.

I totally respect your choice not to believe in God. I have read many books supporting atheism.

I dont understand it, but I accept it.

Atheism doesnt work for me. So I have to live in La La land.

If you are not. If you give them your address they will send you every month a magazine that makes the argument

for God, Jesus and the bible and creatioin. They argue a young earth. Its an organization of scientist.

If you believe the bible you pretty much have to believe in a young earth, you have to believe in creation, you have to believe in adam,

and you have to believe in the fall, you have to believe in Jesus.

This organization wil give you lots of information, evidence and facts to support that belief.

Personally I find believing in the bible and God comforting, but it takes work. Just like it takes work to be an atheist.

If the atheist say it doesnt take work to be an atheist, why are they always arguing their point? Thats work and they are

trying to see who will salute their flag so they can flock together with the birds of a feather. Also they are arguing their

points looking for loopholes testing their theories.

And to be fair I'm sure Christians do the same thing.

I have learned one thing in 58 years, if you believe it, you will see it.

And its brother watch what you wish for, watch what you believe.

If you choose to believe there is no God, you will see evidence for no god.

If you choose to believe there is a God, you will see evidence for a God.

If you choose to believe you are wealthy, you will see evidence to back up your wealth.

If you choose to believe you are poor, you will see evidence to back up your being poor.

It goes on and on and on.

I love this site JWD, but you wont find a lot of spiritually up lifting vibes here.

Most folks here are pretty beat up and damaged, the watchtower did a number on them and they blame god.

Once they lean that way to blame God, then they start collecting the data.

They believe it and they see it.

Its the story of Job all over again on varying degrees of scale.
