music? I just bought a Fender Blues Deluxe amp, 40 watts.

i don't get it.
they are printing money knowing it will hurt the economy.
i don't get the benefit of a destroyed america..
Maybe the powers that be are trying to bring about a one world government.
Or maybe the people that are printing all the money are clueless, none of them seem to bright to me.
Maybe they figure they got to do something, print money,
instead of doing nothing, not printing money.
People discriminate, birds of a feather flock together.
You cant come out amongst a bunch of Christians and say your an atheist or talk like an atheist
without repurcussions.
Acceptance and political correctness is what destroyed Amerika.
If there ever were a rebellion or coup de ate in amerika, the intelligenstia would be the first to the gas
chambers or labor camps.
bro dan ....recently started a thread about sending in our photos.. is not the fruit inside the shell more important?.
who are you?...........................i dont have the guts to start!!.
acolytes.

even those that no longer believe in "god", i wonder, do you ever ever think of god, believing possibly he may exist?.
for those that do believe in god, do you feel you have more of a relationship than when you were a witness?.
I think of God and I pray often, if only the Lords prayer at times.
If there is no God, then I'm talking to myself and programing my higher self
to make my life better.
I have prayed to God throughout my 58 years.
I always pray and give thanks when things are going good.
Most of my 58 years things have been going good.
I must say that it is a matter of perspective but an attitude of graditude improves ones perspective.
ok.... looking for some logical explainations.... my daughter, ali, who i've been posting about on the forum...who has developed congestive heart failure.... has had some spooky experiences lately in her house.
here are a few of the things that happened:.
about a month ago, ali and her son david, heard noises from the attic above ali's bedroom...that sounded like something was being dragged across the attic floor.
Maybe you got rats, racoons, bats, in Florida you might even have a monkey.
i had a lot of anger towards them for a good amount of time.
but now, i like to think about the good times we had.
i like to think about their attributes i admired.
How do you view those you left behind.
We come into this world alone, we go out alone.
You have to step over the bodies in life and keep on trucking.
I've been out since 83. Those that I left behind that are still in, are in because the overall package is working for them.
I have never been one to keep it simple and my witness friends have been able to keep it simple.
They dont question or think much.
They are good hard workers.
I really dont know how good they are. But I think they work hard, or at least somewhat consistently.
Half of those I left behind are out now. I guess they saw the light.
Some of them didn't see the light they got kicked out.
i'm 75 years old and am confused about life and god.
all explainations seem made up by some religious person or some written book that doesn't make any sense to me.
why doesn't a god just let us know that he exist in some way that all people could understand.
You dont understand life or the universe and nobody else does.
Still as humans we try to put our ducks in a row and make sense of things.
You can pick and choose what makes sense to you or just be an observer passing through.
I have noticed we become what we think about.
Maybe we go where we think we are going.
some light relief!.
even now, i can vividly recall buying my very first 45 rpm single in 1967.. i was only just 15 years old.
i worked as a 'paper boy', delivering newspapers to people living nearby.
Its all right by the Impressions 1963. Singles cost 49 cents back then, gas was 32 cents a gallon.
lady atheist.
my top ten grievances against the bible .
1. authority -- not -- it was compiled, copied, edited, codified and translated by men.
I just got back from my 77 year old uncles catholic funeral in Cleveland.
I was very impressed and comforted. The funeral was very bible based with the reading of comforting an
inspiring scriptures.
My brother is an ex Jw and feels the catholics and the bible are an instrument of controll.
The bible says the kingdom is for the meek.
And Matthew 18:3 says unless you turn from your sins you will never get into the kingdom of heaven.
The one sin we all have and must overcome to be with God is doubt. Little children do not doubt, they believe.
If you dont believe in God than you have no God and you are sending yourself into the biblical hell.
Whether in that hell you are concious or unconcious, the thought of it is still not very comforting.
I know this is all cirucular reasoning but if you are an intellectual and keep pelling away the layers of skin
of the onion you will have nothing but tears in your eyes when its all over.
I left the tower in 83 and spent a lot of time talking with a born again Christian at work, He would frustrate and
aggrevate the heck out of me as I would him. I was a agnostic, leaning towards atheist at the time.
I came to examine his faith under my microscope for 20 years.
His faith was: anything I or anyone else would say negative about the bible and God. He would turn around and find a positive
spin. He believed the bible was the word of God.
And he believed when we die we go to be with God, and being with God is a good thing.
Whether the bible is the word of God or is not,
I observed the comfort of his faith for 20 years and his comfort was more appealing to me than
the certainty and intellectual prowess of my fellow agnostics and atheist.
I encourage everyone to doubt and question and test your faith or lack of it, thats what we do here, on earth.
THe bible says each one has to work out his own salvation.
I just feel compelled at this time to put in a word for God and the bible.
Through out recorded history there has been the great debate. God or no God.
