EVE not to blame for sin entering the world. Just how does this work?
by Terry inin our new testament (christian greek scriptures for all you jw's out there) we are given an equation for sin and salvation.. adam (the first man) and jesus (the second adam).. through the first man, adam sin entered the world and death through sin.
through jesus, the second adam, salvation and the life giving spirit.. what happened to eve?.
is it simply a matter of including eve would mean ruining the simplicity of the equation?.

I suggested something that worked for me and then commented on why I felt he responded so negatively
Maybe if u presented it in such a way it wouldn't have been taken differently.
BTW I do agree with u....sometimes we can use this site, or self-pity as a crutch that can pro-long the healing process.

I have a friend who is vegan....it is like a religion to them! She's getting flak about dating my friend, who's in their world an evil "meat eater".

An elders response to pedophelia
by DJK inno question, pedophelia is a despicable offense toward its victims.
more importantly, it is a sin against jehovah!
no jw wil dispute that.

The primary obligation of the commitee is to insure the cleanliness of the congregation, to prevent any repetition of the offense,
Love this gem!
In other words protect the congregations reputation, not the children!
It amazes me how little he talks about the children in his response?

DID GOD CREATE THE BEST OF ALL POSSIBLE WORLDS???
by Terry inis this the best of all possible worlds?.
had god created a world in which he invested humans with adherence to inner, god designed morality guidance--wouldn't an obedient (and far better off human race) world not have been "better" than the one we are in?.
free will is only the freedom to screw up.. think about this.. everything man designs is designed to function properly.

Maybe Adam (if you believe the myth) was the only one who had free will. Being perfect to make a decision on what is right or wrong.
Obvisiously it wasn't the wrong decision to make, since it would have opened his eyes to what was good and bad. It would have also have lead to Adam's eternal life, since he would have eat from the tree of life.
As for free will today, there is no such thing! It's just a genetic lottery so to speak, some win and some lose.

A STUNNINGLY simple question about JOHN 3:16 "For God so Loved the world."
by Terry inon what basis did god so love the world?.
the world of mankind had been condemned to death by god's curse in eden!.
god viewed mankind as "dust on the scales".

Terry you're wanting a rational explanation for something that is a matter of faith. Which at it's very foundation, is believing in something unbelievable.
