i am marion, a friend of fullofdoubtnow (linda), and i have just disassociated from jehovahs witnesses.

i was only announced a couple of days ago, after a lifetime of association.

linda has posted about me before, but it's wonderful to be able to post in my own right, and i am really looking forward to getting to know you all.. i am 59 years of age, 60 in november, and have been a jw all my life, baptised since 1961, and i thought i would always be a witness, but i now know absolutely that it isn't the truth.

she gave him her cell # and said she wanted to get together and connect.

So are you saying your partner doesn't know that you do this? What reaction do you think he or she would have?Are you in a marriage?

The facts show most people are not going to be able to handle monogamy (60% of men and 40% of women cheat CNN "Infidelity") I'm not saying you can't have friends of the oppisite sex, but when in a commited relationship you have to be careful. When you introduce alcohol into the mix even more so.

Crumpet..... don't give people too much credit, even in your own words you say this is a "warning".....about what? Is it a warning or friendly emails? Have you been through such an experience? I have and did try to give "the benefit of the dout", didn't work. Those of us who have had this experience may be a bit more cynical, but we know chapter and verse about the signs of cheating or things that will lead to it.

In talking to my therapist within 5 minutes she knew what was going on in my situation, not wanting to believe her I didn't take her advise, but in the end she nailed it. Same with my Attorney they see this stuff everyday its the same story chapter and verse, just a different name.

Drop Dead Gorgeous!

back when i was attending kingdom halls, our circuit had a lot of 'drop dead gorgeous' women, many whom were married to the geekiest looking guys.

i always asked myself, "how did these 'dorks' do it"!.

was this because selection was limited, or was this just a peculiarity in our area?

Please....... its not like all the sisters are what I would call HOT!!!! This thread makes it sound like the org. is all a bunch of Angelina's, settling for a bunch of Gump's. Let us not forget the Oinker sisters....play fair.......course they won't be married....i c ur point.
Wasn't the Oinker sisters a musical group from the 60's. I know that was a bad one!
