A SIMPLE EXPLANATION of why TIME TRAVEL doesn't work
by Terry inenergy and matter are neither created nor destroyed.. consequently, the building blocks of existence are actually finite parts.. to create things in "tomorrow" which are new, something has to be dismantled to leave spare parts for the new thing.. the old thing deteriorates, (dies) and the parts become the new thing.. time travel requires going to a place where all of today's parts are completely dismanteled and are being used (or not) to maintain yesterday/tomorrow.. ever see the film primer?.

Santanas That is the big thing. There will be some underpasses but not many. There has been a lot of town meetings almost weekly in various places around the nation. This is one of the points local people are concerned about. That is the lack of underpasses. Some communities if this thing goes throw will virtually be cut off from the towns they call home. This is going to be the price of progress. They will either have to move or live with it.

I have not read the post before me. I have to say scientist have already prove time travel and had done it. They put an atomic clock on a jet plane and then went for a ride. Guess what time the clock on the plane speed up slightly.
The universe never dissolved and then reassembled. I am still a live and so are you. So there is one huge hole in your theory, Man has already done it.

Question: In light of the "new light" how will they now explain...???
by Lady Liberty inhello everyone, i have missed all of you... been away for a while and trying to catch up on the latest..which brings me to my question... there is much talk regarding the latest statement about the 24 elders guiding the organization from heaven right now as was apparently printed in the recent watchtower.
if they really begin emphasising this as some sort of damage control because of the growing amount claiming they are anointed, how will they be able to explain away their changing light on different subjects??.
right now when cornered regarding subjects that have changed, they simply say it is "new light", they have made mistakes, and that they never claim to be perfect, after all they too are only human...well, if the 24 elders have been actually running the show since 1914, then why the flip flopping of teachings??.

I read the article too mom and showed her that there is new light here. First they taught that after 1914 the resurrection started and the Society has been kicking back and forth for some time as to whether or not all the anointed would be in heaven before the Big A. Now they are saying that this is a maybe.
Why do you think they are doing this? Because in 1935 if you were ten years old you are now 81. The Society can not claim that the anointed were complete at that time if they continue to claim that that group would feed his sheep at the appropriate time. They are all dead now except maybe for a few hundred. Thus time has proven once again that a false prophet is among us
Just as the Generation changing they have to change that the anointed group was completed in 1935. This is the foundation to a major change for the BORG.

I just keep a copy of the Seattle time and when ever a Mormon is coming over I put it out were he or she can read it. It say's Morman chruch excommunicates one of the scientist it hired to prove thier history of American is correct by DNA but after not finding any proof, but the opposite is true that the DNA disproves the Mormons version of history. I have had several upset Mormons.
As you said they sound just like the JW's when you prove they are wrong. I have been told many time they know they have the correct Church by personal testimonies and all the testimonies they hear all the time from other Mormans.
Sad but they are as blind as the JW's

Apology to all
by wozadummy inthis is an apology to all for my recent posts, i did'nt mean to upset anyone .
just coping with leaving the org ,and the past ,and trying to support my wife who, as some know from my prevoius posts has tried to deal with her pedophile elder(past) father for many years now thru the org ,and then being badly treated by them and her large extended family (most are witnesses and are trying to silence her), made me hit rock bottom.
we are now taking action via the police and court system and she is barely coping ,and me being bi-polar does'nt help matters much and i fell into to an unreal state for a while as we don't have much support of any kind.
