Abstain from Blood...

my first post was a few days ago now, and finally my heart has stopped pounding whenever i log on.. :-).

so, i have been in the truth all my life, 3rd generation witness, never left, never been in trouble, pioneered for years, and am a respected member of my congregation.

at the moment.

I was blown away with this video. I already knew about Osiris and Dionysos But never really understood anything about Mirthra.

I learn something everyday even when I am not looking for it.

What do the bible thumpers think about Mirthra, Osiris and Dionysos. All three are no doubt myths. Is Jesus miracles myth as well?

Blood

i am getting away for a moment from congacs forum to talk about what i have reaserched about the blood topic.. blood is composed of a liquid called blood plasma and blood cells suspended within the plasma.

the blood cells present in blood are red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.plasma is predominantly water containing dissolved proteins, salts and many other substances; and makes up about 55% of blood by volume.

by far the most abundant cells in blood are red blood cells.

I have not read all of this I hope I am not repeating a point. If it is wrong to auto transfuse your own blood back into yourself because the blood coagulates "doing so is grounds for dissociation" then why can you take fractions? fractions are taken from coagulated blood. The same law is broken, one you can be a member of the governing body and do, while breaking the same exsact law you are Disassociated for doing?

Hardly a GOD given law.

I hope he is still reading this thread. I have a Blood letter that Two C.O. at the same time have gone over with me. Seven Elders and has been sent to the Society. The CO's and the Elders all said after studying the information that the Society stand on blood is scripturally wrong. The Society just ask for me not to share the information with others. Several of the ELders have quit going all together.

New Light

i swear more new light is available here than in the corridors of the wts.

in leviticus the israelites are instructed not to eat things strangled or already dead, but if they do, they are only unclean, not stoned to death.

so why has it been upgraded by the wts to be this unforgivable sin?

jefferywhat If you do not have my research about blood you will find it worth the read. I call it my Blood letter. This information has been respossible for many people leaving the borg. I have had CO's go over the information and agree the Society is wrong on blood. I have seven different Elder go into depth with me over this letter. Every person more matter how brain washed that has taken the time to go over this letter on blood has admitted to me the Society is wrong.

PM me if you would like a copy. That goes for anyone the reads this, the letter has been posted here several time and several hundred on the this board has a personal copy.

the new video "pursue goals that honor god" was given to me last night at the hall.

it encourages young people to pursue spiritual goals, and not waste their time on foolish endeavors such as riches or education.

well, at least it used to have that message, until we had our way with it :) .

Opinion - What % of JWs are hardcore Kool Aid partakers?

the recent thread about the 1975 after effects (fall off in members) got me to thinking about the ratio of hardcore, "can't kill 'em with a stick", witnesses to the marginal, "spiritually weak", followers.

for all the backtracking and double talk old freddy caused the gb with his 1975 'vision', they learned a lot about the make up of their followers and were reassured that they have a hardcore majority base that will always be there.

my guess is it is around 80/20.

I think about about this all the time, what is the %. I have asked several Elders if the Governing body told them this is the last test if you are loyal you and your family will live in GODS promised 1000 year reign. The Governing Body said to Go home and kill your wife and kids the final test of loyalty would they do it? I have had a few that refused to answer but I have also had a few say without hesitation YES!!!

I was told by the Bothers on a committee meeting if the Society said my right hand was now my left then from that time on it was.

Back to your question without a doubt in my mind at least 30% are the Kool Aid partakers.
