I am for it. but still against it because it does take away our freedoms. But it is so wrong for drunk drivers to be on the road so I am on the fence on this subject.

I was correct was I not that there would be those that refused to see the truth about the trees. You are not talking about one or two tree here but hundreds and many dead trees that have been dead thousands of years. When you have two factors proving the same conclusion as you do with the tree. 1. the carbon dating proves gives you the same date as 2. The rings in the tree do.

by Amazing incurrently, a number of jws seem to think that the earth was created 7,000 years ago, basing this in part on the society teaching that one day is as a thoudand years.
thus, since we are near the end of the seventh creative day, then the earth and all life on it are only about 7,000-years old.
however, this is not official watchtower teaching, unless the society has made a radial change in the last 14-years that i somehow missed.. the february 1, 1973 watchtower, pages 82-83 deal with this topic:it should be remembered that trees and other vegetation have been on earth much longer than man.

Yes this has all changed but when the changes were made they studied the changes but as time went by the OLD DOG's forgot about the changes. Many, Many time I have had to force feed this point to the blind stupid throngs of OLD DOG JW's while I was still in. Servel old-timers would get the information up-linked back in their brains to only convert back to the old thinking and start preaching the old think and fighting with the younger ones about it.
What amazed me is that the Watchtower likes the Older ones to think this because it fits into the goal of global domination so I doubt since it has been changed and disccused they will hash it out again.

Damn I am confused or is Apostate-Conspiracy.
Anyone on this board has to believe is Conspiracy theories or they would still be good faithful witnesses. It is hypocritical for anyone here to be high minded and put down some one else for believing in conspiracy's because many of us was part of the conspiracy as we went door to door and went preach for the conspirasist (don't know if that is a word conspirasist but you get the point)

That is interesting because I make my living as a horticulturalist my wife and I have even given public lectures for the local college classes. This is not possible why? becasue of the sedimentary pressure of all the mud and water pounding down onto the trees would of killed the trees because of lack of oxygen. The water current form the ocean would have ripped the trees out. The layer the sediment would of burried the trees.
Even if there was no cuurent or sediment the roots of a tree can be submerged but if that trees leaves or pines needles are submerged by water the tree dies every quickly it could only suvive a few months. I could go on and on why this is not possible so I wont.

Alone With the Opposite Sex
by purplesofa inover the last few months i have been training three different men for backup position of my job.. we are alone in my car all day.. as a jw, i remember one time, needing to go to another congo in a different town to work on a part at an assembly.
i was to ride with the brother doing the part.
he was probably at least 30+ years older than me.

any one want to talk
by ttforb ini was a jw and i d/a myself.. i have sinced married and had two wonderful kids, my parents are still jws, and hardly ever see my kids.
i do not regret d/a myself,my parents are the ones missing out on their grandkids,.
i was accused of doing something and the brothers acted like they did not believe me, i told them that the only ones who mattered,was me the other person and god.

My wife was physically abused and mentally abused. I used to hate her parents and wanted nothing more than for a giant to come down from heaven and beat the the hell out of my wife's parents. Believe it or not I like them now. They are OK people with out kids at home. Her dad worked for me for two years and he is sick deep down knowing his kids were abused by his wife. My wife has forgive them both. A heart is small and needs healing so love can sit in and stay. I hope you can forgive it took over 10 years for my wife.I still have great bitterness for the BORG and I to need to forgive them. Someday maybe I can also forgive.
