  "Look, now before I speak, I want to say that it is very okay for someone to not believe, but I will call you names and say that you are haters.. Are they hurting anyone? No. Killing anyone? No. But I will say that what you believe is just foolish and as I hate on you, I will accuse you of hating on me. You are dumb if you think logic and reason will have any influence over my blind belief. I will continue to attack your logic and reason and any beliefs that don't fit mine, but continue to say that I'm sorry that you all like to attack others beliefs because they don't fit your own.   OnTheWayOut Science cannot and I repeat cannot explain what caused the formation in the first place. It can only attempt to explain the how but not what triggered the trigger.

  Incorrect. You cannot accept current explanations. To be fair, there were many things that science could not explain at one time, but now it can. "The Beginning" will eventually be well understood.

  Regardless, belief does no better. What triggered the existence of God (and remember saying that "He just always was there" is not a complete answer unless you can explain that)?

  "Many" would be a huge exaggeration unless we reach back into history when most scientists believed in God. The vast majority of living scientists who study abiogenesis and related fields are atheists. Even if that is argued and an extensive list of scientists who believe in a creator can be found, belief has nothing to do with the science.

  They found things that just did not fit into the naturalistic framework. They found things that required intelligent design.

  No. Some have argued that the accepted explanations by the majority of scientists are not accepted by all. Some have objected to the way things are explained. But they did not FIND any solid proofs that intelligent design was required. Overstate your argument and lose credibility.

  They studied the nature of DNA, human cells, trees, fossils, and even thunderstorms. They looked at it without the preconceived notion that it just came into existence.

  No true scientist ever looks at "it" with a notion that "it just came into existence." This shows that you are ignorant of science and just rambling on as a believer.

  In this way, we could and I do mean we could say science proves God exists because some of the best scientists have saw fit for themselves through a lot of research that God exists.

  You say "some of the best" because they agree with you. FALSE. WRONG. And your conclusion is meaningless as science has not proven God exists.

  
  

  Now lets say evolution did come by chance. And that everything came from nothing. Well, first of all, what created the nothing? What created the means by which things were to come into existence? All atheistic evolutionists cannot seem to explain how other planets were formed. If they can't explain that then what makes them think they could explain how Earth came to be? At least the creationist scientist were able to research and see for themselves what made sense instead of baseless assumptions. I'd like to know what the general people here think.

  Science can explain how planets were formed. They can explain how everything was formed. I will skip the rest of that argument because you will stick with "No, they can't." If a creationists rejects "something from nothing" theories because it goes against the way we understand things, he still has the problem of "God" coming into existence (or always being there). Science attempts to explain this, belief just stops and says it is a mystery or pretends it isn't a problem.

  If I don't hold your view, I don't "understand it at least."
  
  Bullcrap.

  And it's not a choice of two things. It's not either a single god (of your understanding) created life and evolution or did not.

  There are multiple possibilities. But Zeus has not shown himself, neither has Odin or Yahweh.
  Could a force of some type that has intelligence have created life? Sure. But as long as there is no evidence, I must live without making such a conclusion.

  LITS, don't kick yourself. Your husband minimized his own problem and waited to tell you. He set the tone for treating his chest pains as an inconvenience instead of a true emergency.

  As an emergency worker, I have gone into a few churches. The "show" did not need to go on, and most priests/pastors seemed decent enough to make the patient a main concern.
  
  At an emergency at a Kingdom Hall one time, they had moved the sister to the ladies room, you know-further into the Kingdom Hall instead of closer to the door. The men in charge allowed the sisters to deal with us men there to help and went back to the show, until we got her out of the Hall and some brother just had to put his suit jacket over her legs because her skirt rode up a tiny bit on our wheeled stair chair. They were so unhelpful that I made sure he didn't get his suit jacket back after we loaded her into the ambulance. At least someone called 911 for her.
