Sadly I was one of those that supported this tripe. Apostates are made out to terrorists that "oppose" and "target" the faithfull.
Wow! Such aggression! Most of the 'apostates' that I know, (myself included) are not that militant...

For those of you who are disfellowshipped!

i remember when one brother was disfellowshipped, he himself honoured the arrangement and walked past the brothers with his eyes fixed to the floor.. im going to be disfellowshipped in 8 days, so i just thought id ask you all.. personaly, im going to be kind and cheery as i always tried to be with people.. timmy xxx.

I have been out for over 10 years, It starting to become a faded memory sometimes. The turn over of people in the local congregation over this time must have been a lot. I don't 'bump' into many of the JW's I used to know.
However this past saturday I was at the mall, and Mrs Elder and her daughter walked past. She either did not recognize me, or did a fantastic job of ignoring me. I had to grin.
I greeted a JW at the gas station one day, and we chatted the whole time we were there. Just kept it friendly and neutral. After all the F&DS has no problem with neutrality....

I llike the memorial one best, it points to how little time is spent speaking about Jesus, and his sacrifice. And in turn how much time is spent being an infomercial to becoming a JW....
They are all good, and the dry humour makes it a pleasure to watch.

Just like the character played by Hugo Weaving in the Matrix, I defended the Borg, agressively! I could see no wrong in what the society was doing.
All but the 7 million + JW's were evil, and that was that.

Branch offices in Europe are closing
by Samuel Thorsen ini have from a safe source that the bethel branch office in austria, ireland, italy and switzerland are closing down in the near future.
most of the business will be taken care of from the german bethel.
nothing is said thru official channels yet, but there is no reason to doubt my source.. can anyone tell more about this topic?.

no more lurking...hello eveyone
by Evidently Apostate inabout a year ago i went through a mild meltdown.
it hit me fast i had panic attacks and became angry with all the control in my life.
(being a jw) i had just found out i was being screwed on a real estate development project by another self righteous jw i have known for a long time but this was a big loss (about 4 months pay plus expenses).
