if the law allowed, do you think jws would actually kill apostates?

I really dislike that work apostate its their own terminology I think its slanderous very demeaning i,m sure they refer to us as apostates to people out side there organization

To answer the question yes my mother also said that she would throw the first stone and she meant it

We live next door to jws i said hello and she flew at me in a rage telling me not to temp her

In normal life these people are quite rational but when they see us its like they are possesed

we did not swallow the new light theory at all but it did get me thinking.

lets presume jws are right and they claim to be inspired by god what does that say about god?is it just a game for him they must be having a ball in heaven changing the rules halfway through a game even if jws were right i would not want to be part of a god that does that.i was raised a jw and to be honest i enjoyed it for me it was a great way of life but there comes a time when in good faith you can not justify to yourself that it is the truth never held any hatred for jws until i left and then i saw them in a different light they by they i mean my family have put all there energy into applying there love towards me by shunning me my wife and there 5 grandchildren as ive said if god is dirrecting them then i dont want anything to do with there god.

this new light will have little or no effect on jws all thats left is rank and file who if by now havnt left never will and new converts who have no idea what used to preach.

Just out of interest have many sort out other religions if so how did they find it ? how did there jw side of brain cope?

If the wtbts only realised that ther shunning policy is doing them more harm then good it serves no purpose only encourages people to develop friction between each other.My parents would rather speak to a drug addicted childmolester wifebasher then me if that person showed interest in there religion I sometimes wonder if it is ther religion that has made them that way or if thats the way they are

Encounter with JW neighbours # 2

as i posted in a previous thread, we moved about 5 weeks ago into a house next door to a local elders family (who also happen to be related to us through marriage).. the elders wife (i'll call her mrs m), decided to weed her garden when we went out this morning.

but we were only gone for 20 minutes.

to weed a part of her garden, she has to come into our front yard to reach it, which she was doing when we came home.

We are never nasty or rude to them, and never will be. It's sooo much more fun to be as nice as you can, and try to make them feel nervous and embarressed. Works every time. I can just imagine the conversation last night... husband returns home to an upset wife and asks what's wrong... "Its the neighbours....they said HELLO to me today!" And an added bonus is, us living next door is going to aggravate my hubbys family to no end!!! Can you imagine...going to someones father/mothr to voice a complaint that their son said HELLO and was friendly to them...

...and now live (joy of joys!

) next door to local elder, who just happens to be my husbands sisters father-in-law!

(and was one of the 3 on commitee for our voluntary dissassociation).. this will now make life interesting.. already they refuse to come out the front yard, and if we 'happen' to go out front when they are there, they run inside!

playing songs like Highway to Hell, It's My Life, etc.,

My husband already does that, but his choice of songs is losing my religion, Jesus christ superstar, bat out of hell etc. Anything even remotely annoying to them he will play with the volume turned up full. But...they haven't said anything as yet.

The elders wife (I'll call her Mrs M), decided to weed her garden when we went out this morning. But we were only gone for 20 minutes. To weed a part of her garden, she has to come into our front yard to reach it, which she was doing when we came home. By the time we got out of the car, she had quickly moved to another section of garden in her own yard. Anyway, the bins had been emptied, so hubby decided to go bring them in. To do this though meant walking straight past her. So on the way back, he called out a friendly hello..and got no answer. So he stopped, and called out twice more. Still no answer, not even a glance, and we're only talking about a space of 3-4 metres between them.

So he said..."are you deaf?"

Well...that got her attention, and she stood up, nearly shaking and said..."Don't test me" (WTF???).

Hubby said there is no harm in saying hello (after all, what kind of neighbours would we be if we didn't. )

To which he got..."You've been dying to say hello to me for weeks now."

His brilliant reply..."Don't flatter yourself...your not that important!"

The look of complete stunned suprise was priceless...before she made a quick exit to the safety of her house. (which must be starting to feel like a prison by now. )

I'm so looking forward to seeing what happens next, as I'm sure she will tell everyone what horrible neighbours she has. After all...how dare we say hello! How rude!!!

Apologies for the shameless bump but I just wanted to let you know that something is going to happen. Don't get carried away, I'm not posting a BIG NEWS announcement or trying to raise hopes of major WT trouble - nothing like that at all. No, something big and nice is going to happen for us! This is something just for us exdubs, nondubs and anyone else who's who's been hurt by the cult.
The watchtower can't take it away from us even though it will certainly ~~piss them off~~ annoy them. When you see it you'll think "Crap! Why the hell didn't someone do this before?" It won't change your life, it won't make you more attractive to the opposite sex and it won't bring you inner peace or fulfillment . . . . . . . but I think you're going to like it.
I'm only piquing interest now because I'll need half a dozen or so . . . . testers/helpers. (No it's not site admin or anything boring like that). If you're interested just say so here.

I'm curious...so, yes, you have my interest!

Can you find the image all Kingdumb Hells have?

no, kingdumb hells do not have traditional images.

they lack crosses, statues, and other symbols that most christian churches have.

however, they do have an image.

ok i have googled this and can't find a list of foods that contain blood.. i have learned from this board that chocolate, milk and hotdogs contain blood.. does anyone know of more or when i can find a list of foods that contain blood?.

i would love to see some friends of mine change their diet....lol

MSG other wise known as monosodium glutamate contains blood.
