Are JW's scared of visiting apostate websites?
by yadda yadda 2 ini believe they are.
i think it's their biggest fear besides dying at armageddon.. there's a saying that anyone who reads ray franz's books is never the same again.
i think many jw's secretly know that there is information out there that would almost certaintly seriously damage their truth in their religion, and they are terrified of it.. they would rather keep their heads firmly stuck in the sand than even take a peek at critical information that might begin a slippery slope leading to the collapse of their unique worldview.. jw doing their version of the islam prayer:.

Really? They didn't have a problem coming here to get evidence on me. When I confronted one of them on it he quickly dismissed every thing the site said as untrue and biased even when I wanted to show him the news media sites to back it all up.
They aren't that scared of this site they are scared of us though.
Honestly that is a good thing as more will come here if they aren't scared of it. Which were I think the WT is failing they can't get the average publisher scared of sites like this anymore with JW.org to back them up in thier heads while they troll.

They Need War Now
by metatron inhttp://www.foxnews.com/world/2013/10/26/israel-issues-warning-to-iran-over-nuclear-bomb-report/?intcmp=latestnews.
there have been similar headlines on usa today and the drudgereport.. they need ww3 and they need it now.. the israelis understand what will likely happen if peace with iran breaks out.
there will be a movement towards eliminating all nuclear weapons in the middle east and the intensification of declaring 'apartheid' as regards the palestinians.. in other words, the practical end of israel as a zionist state.. in addition, there are senators who lust for war (lindsay graham, etc) they realize that the fog of war would move the us towards becoming a full police state, eliminating what's left of the bill of rights and distracting the whole nation from its failing economy.. i think it's too late for a phony false flag attack - to blame iran for some made-up terrorist attack.

Confessing Sins to Elders for forgiveness, Can Elders Forgive Sins?
by SanLuisObispoTruthSeeker inif i have a addiction to cocaine, gay-porn and rock-and-roll, where does the bible indicate i need to confess my sins to the elders instead of confessing my sins here and have members pray for me?
whose brain-child was this idea?
i would rather confess my sins to you because the elders are not known for keeping their mouths shut.

What Would a Country Run by Evangelical Christianity Look Like?
by cofty inon an earlier thread i made the statement that, "an evangelical christian government would look a lot like the taliban".. laika asked me incredulously, "do you really think your friends from your old church would govern like the taliban!?".
i thought it was a really interesting question and might work as a separate thread.. the people i worshipped with were mostly a nice bunch of people, but the thought of them having secular power would make me shudder.. christianity is mostly harmless because it lacks power.
christian politicians are restrained by secular laws and constitutions.

Look at the current state of the US get the picture yet?
Mainly look at the south eastern parts and Utah where the pretence of the seperation of church and state in the local goverments has been gone for some time.

To feed the troll or not feed the troll that is the question? WHich leads my to one proble you didn't really ask questions
Truth:
1) Does not change. Real truth remains truth.<--- Assumting one has all the facts yes sadly no one has all the facts especially ones that cling to beliefs as facts rather actual hard facts
2) In the " world " truth changes. Man's predictions are often wrong.<---- In the world we uncover more facts that change past views and ideas. God's aren't much better we have since uncover most old testiment bible predictions were writtten after they happened or shoe horned into a double meaning the never had.
3) The prophets never stated probabilities or assumptions. <------ No they just wrote down what the voices or visions told them too. Today we give these same people meds and therapy.
4) The truth cannot contradict other " truth." Only one can be right. <------ Not a question that's a statement but I could rephase and answer it but why bother?
5) Truth is verifiable facts. <------- Same as the last one I can't answer statements please phrase into a question. Is truth verifialble facts?

I looked up the defintion of an apostate and found a possible tactic in talking to a JW.
by 5go inassuming they converted to being a jw that is.
because simply converting reigions or changing one's beliefs makes one an apostate by defintion.. just though i would bring that up..
