  People who see EVIL object in pictures, are really reaching!

  i sit in my bathroom on a daily basis, using the facilities.

  as i do this, to pass the time i will sometimes look at the pattern in the wallpaper or floor and see if i can make out things.

  at times i think it looks like a face, or maybe the shape of a object or country.

  i noticed that we have a lot of new lurkers here - and, in particular, some elders who are agonizing over how to get free.

  from the watchtower without causing too much damage to themselves.

  here are some suggestions that have worked.

  If you do not attend the bookstudy you're automaticaly put into the kingdom hall book study and that bookstudy overseer is incharge of keeping up on you and all the other JW rejects (I.E disfellowshipped or inactives). He supposed to get your info.

  Basicaly they shrunk the congregations down to the bookstudy level if you have trouble or get in trouble the bookstudy overseer is suposed to ether handle it or help in handling it.( Like consel you if you have doubts or if there is a problem find out what it is and inform the P.O. If they need to get a JC. so they have you)

  Now if you are lucky like me the elders are lazy but I see the they have me here. The C.O. I think just or someone put some hitmen elders in or congregation. I am not sure yet but the just moved and sudenly the are appointed depite the fact that we don't need more elders and the congragation near by does. Our congragtion is a faders paradise, or at least it seems lot of people move and soon just stop coming. So they are atleast up to something.

  I think they have strategy for faders. I just hope it fails.

  I don't know if one can fade now though with the new bookstudy emergency contact list. They might have you no matter where you go because they will ask for your new adress if you give a bogus one and the new elders spot it (I.E. like a address, road, building, or apartment that dosen't exist)and they got you. Then the new elders report back saying hey this ain't right and here comes the JC anyway.

  You might just be better off taking the pill.

  Oh and awarning to those who faded recently expect a visit I here the whoever your bookstudy overseer is suposed to get your adress and phone number pure society orders. In other words they're cracking down on fading.

  lately i`ve been in conflict with jw-apologists on wikipedia in my country.

  the most annoying thing is when the jws are trying to rewrite doctrine to make it sound more humane than it really is.

  everyone on this board, everyone who ever was a jw or were raised as a jw,knows what the real doctrine is on this issue.

  I can put bumper stickers on my car now!

  this may seem silly---but ever since i could drive, every car had to be acceptable for field service.

  no vanity plate on the front (have one now!

  ), no bumper stickers or advertising slogans (have 3 now!).

  Question for JW believers...or whoever wants to answer

  i often wondered this myself a lot growing up, and i must know.... if there was no paradise hope, no promise of living forever or having your dead loved ones resurrected....would you still serve your god and follow the organization?

  would you have ever began studying with the witnesses for that matter or stayed in the ''truth'' if you were raised in it?.

  because isn't that the golden ticket that jw's wave in front of their studies or interested ones?

  i have been d/f for about 10 years now so i don't get to read anymore publications or keep up on any changes.

  but here is my question and little background.. i work with a d/f girl and her sister was d/f as well about a month ago.

  the girls sister and her husband were inactive for 5+ years.

  I say would that sounds about right but it isn't WT policy. Usualy if you haven't been inactive they leave you alone seeing as no one in the congregation cares about her. (They reserve the right to df you though.) Since she was trying to become active again. Hence had the attention of the congregation on her. The elders no choice but to do something or apear like they condone it. It's wrong but they do it to save face, at her expence.

  Realization about the Adam and Eve myth

  as i looked at the adam and eve story again, i realized the something is wrong with the story.

  jehovah offers the pair all the fruits in the garden of eden save the tree of the knowledge of good and bad.

  there's a problem though, why would there be a fruit for that if bad supposedly wasn't around at that point yet?
