  i know the person who sent it, i used to be in his congregation, and he suggested i put it on my site.

  i assume he was joking, it certainly isn't going on there, but i thought i'd share it with you guys.

  Thanks for the correction on his jw beginings........

  But honestly though, don't judge a man's character on his outer skin especialy when he's carring a bible in his hand and wearing a big smile.

  I saw a couple of his performances recently and the obvious sexual innuendo in his music was still very apparent.

  Doesn't come across as a wholsome down to earth christian to me !

  I still think he changed to suit the needs of his popularity........my 2 cents

  Send him back...........No thank you, do to my honesty and personal inregrity I rather not serve and support a obviously corrupt and hypocritical corporation as the WTS.

  I've born witness to the personal damage it causes individuals and testified to the false prophesying business for what it is structured on. Now that I'm free of it's

  manipulative slavery I can say with certainey I will never again be a slave to such blatant corruption. I've cast down the disgusting thing, so now my mind is clear,

  my soul is full of purity and honesty, ......... my heart is happy again !

  The truth has set me free.......won't you please give the truth a chance it might help you too ?

  Why did we failed to see the rather obvious signs?

  when we decided to accept the jws something drew us to them perhaps the belief that they had the truth and they could provide a refuge from the so called armageddon.

  or it could be the need to belong somewhere or to associate with (ostensibly) spiritual people as was the case with me.

  but why (unlike many other interested persons) did we miss the many rather obvious signs that there was something fundmentally wrong with this organisation so as to save ourselves a lot of trouble in the future when deciding to leave it?

  Programed salesmen in my opinion ! I remember back in the early 80's when I was trying to help promote my brothers R&R band, we had some demo cassettes tapes made up

  on a couple of songs, it only cost us about 70$ to have 100 tapes duplicated and it would have been alot cheaper per cassette if we were to do more At the very same time, on the back of a awake magazine the WTS. were selling a box set of cassettes of kingdom songs which they were selling for 50$ or 60$. So I thought to myself since they are producing these things in the

  many thousonds why are asking so much for this set ? Price at that volume would be only be @ .30 cents a cassette, so .30 cents X 20 is only $6.00 !

  Then I was enlighted on what the WTS. was about $$$$$$$$$ and lots of them.

  Big buisiness in the United States !

  Three things men are always looking for, money, power and a litlle sex on the side .

  Personally I like the fact that the media has come out and acknowlege that Prince is a practising jw this can only give the WTS more

  bad press. I quess the little dirty perverts conscious caught up to him over the years and it was time for some redemption ( and then there was a knock on his front door.)

  The jw's are always bolstered with pride whenever a known celebrity becomes one of them, remember Micheal Jackson. George Benson, Van Morisson to name a few.

  If Prince was truly honest and forthright with his faith he would retire showbiz, live off his millions, give some to the WTS., and become a special pioneer and maybe

  write some new kingdom songs in his spare time. It's puzzling to me why the WTS. hasn't sacked him yet !

  Possibily how could they think this character is giving them good promotion, how weird, delusional and stupid.

  Sounds to me like this was just a publicity stunt on his part to get back public approval, since everyone got tired of the old dirty Prince,....so it's once bad now righteous syndrome.

  To him I suppose it justifies his means, professional show people do this many times to gain popularity in a career.

  So play on Prince your only hurting and damaging the WTS. and this is always a good thing in my books !

  Any bad press about the jw's is good press in my opinion !

  Kudos to the goverment of BC.

  I hope this s ituation continunes in a some ways, the longer the better.

  what for an example what do you think they will be writing on the cover of the w & a magazines 50 or 100 hundred years form now ?.

  ever wonder why, if the watchtower society is publishing truth, it becomes necessary to print what is essentially the same book over and over again?.

  i mean; don't they all start in the garden of eden?

  Yes I was there too for the 1975 deal I can vividly remember the anxious brother and sisters waiting in anticipation at the time and some were bloody nervous as well.

  Was truly the start of my exiting..... oh ya the hair thing too. After one meeting at the hall one of the folliclely challenged elders brought me and my father back to the hall and I

  was told I would no longer be able to give talks or go out in service anymore until I got a hair cut, my hair was not even a inch over my ears at the time , this was conduct unbecoming of a

  christian he said.

  My father lowered his head in shame during the whole discussion I remember. I was bad I think I replied something back like why is that when Jesus and his disciples had long hair ?

  It all makes me laugh now .......probably does to you too..
