  i'm still just trying to understand ..... what is the real essence of why the leaders at the very core of this religion do what they do?

  i assume they are all in the 144k, so i get that.

  The Watchtower's original self proclaiming agenda was to bring light into the world,

  through interpretation of bible Scriptures by the guidance of god's holy spirit.

  Sold millions of pieces of literature on this premise in the process.

  They've failed in doing so which is obvious but they have gravitated toward themselves a whole lot of power and money,

  which you can sure they fully intend to keep by any stretch of the imagination.

  To accomplish this they have to create bullshit to cover previous bullshit, discreetly hiding away

  the most obvious wrongs they have expressed in the past, some which have actually killed people.

  instead of throwing stones from his ivory tower in virginia, he should have taken a que from the one he claims to follow who when asked about the murders of galileans making their sacrifices by pilate said, "do you think that these galileans were worse sinners than all the other galileans because they suffered this way?

  in the april 15, 2010 wt, the new governing body of jw's have once again changed their ever problematic teaching regarding the "generation" that saw the sign jesus spoke of mt: 24:32-34.

  (note, all references to "generation" in this article are in reference to this passage in mt 24).

  the reason that this shows why the governing body is a fraud is very simple.

  Is this new orchestrated bullshit really that surprising, they've known for awhile now that anyone that was born around 1914 are all but

  gone now, so new righteous bullshit had to be devised .

  You can best be assured they worked on this one for some time.

  After all its the GB's sole job to devise bullshit so it draws attention to the masses and to make it somewhat believable at the same time.

  The WTS. has a billion dollars in assets and many are directly feeding off these acquired sums, especially the GB,

  so its not unexpected that they would come up with some BS to keep this all intact.

  one thing that truly bothers me is that the religion forces you to accept an understanding they have expressed.

  they might very well change their view and you simply have to accept the newest view or you are the bad guy!

  the generation understanding has changed so much since its inception, how could any witness possibly be 100% sure that what they're told to believe in is "the truth"??.

  the bible did not exist in jesus' day nor in the lifespan of his apostles.. people didn't walk around with one (bible) tucked under their arm.. christians didn't carry one (bible) door to door for preaching and teaching.. the closest thing to the bible was the septuigint greek translation of hebrew scriptures which not one person in a 10,000 had ever seen!.
