  New light: Generation

  got some info from the annual meeting.. unofficially, the 'generation' is now categorized as 2 groups.

  the first is 'the 1914 group' and the second is the younger anointed 'contemporaries' who 'actually work for a period of time with those anointed ones'.. the 'generation' is now 'the lifespan of those who actually saw the beginning of the sign and then the lifespan of those who worked with those who saw the beginning of the sign'.. here we go again....

  Is this really so surprising, the WTS. corporation has been exploiting , spinning and manipulating bible scripture since its inception.

  The organization has to continually make itself appear as a viable source of spiritual truth to the masses, hence the

  need to continually change their doctrines, when necessary.

  The presses keep on rolling, inquisitive people keep on reading what they print.

  Its the GB/Presidents indentured job to make fiction to appear nonfictional.

  Changing doctrine is a essential part of keeping the indoctrinated slaves as supportive slaves

  and to keep the governing body in supportive power.

  To lose believability of themselves they lose everything.

  Unfortunate for them they have to try and survive now in the age of information through the inter-net,

  that being so they are in for a real struggle to make themselves appear valid before the public.

  1975 for deniers.

  most of today's jws were not members in 1975 or in the 9 years prior to 1975, so they were not eyewitnesses to what really went on during that period.

  i was a pioneer in that period, and i was an eyewitness to what went on.. those jws who are still active today and who were around in that period will typically say it was the "brothers" who "ran ahead of jehovah" and "read more into" the 1975 prediction than what was actually stated.

  Quite a story Jeff, yes they were some interesting times, full of fear and anxiety and the occasional suicide.

  There was a lot propagating fear around those days, that essentially put people into controlled submission.

  When I left in around 1978, I knew there wouldn't be much an apology come out of Brooklyn.

  It was blatant scam to sell more literature, thats all and in those days there was a set price on magazines and books.

  Spiritual food my ass, your father sounds like many of the JWS who dropped out after the 1975 fiasco.

  I did and never returned even though all of my family were still in.

  Its funny how Scholar is an apostate to the real truth, but then again this is how

  mental indoctrination works on people over a period of time, it weakens their ability

  radicalize and resolve problems by themselves and takes way their ability to think

  for themselves, outside of the set parameters of the procuring indoctrinators.

  Essentially the WTS. is controlling his mind and has technically removed any self inserting analytical thought.

  Unfortunate for him the WTS. just sees him as a simple number of their propagating marketing slaves.

  I think thats the whole point about Scholar he accumulates facts from

  falsifying profiteers ( The Watchtower Corporation) and embraces them whole heartedly.

  I'd still like to hear his explanation of how this truth giving organization came up with 6000

  years of mans existence, up until 1975. !

  For a group of individuals to front a ball park lie like and then sell it to the public, identifying it as spiritual food

  kind of tells real the story doesn't it ?

  Bullshit fear mongering religious charlatans comes to mind.

  Did You Exit the Witnesses Due to Injustices / Difference with Doctrine-Both?

  many of us leave due to injustices committed inside the organization.

  i did initially.

  i had doubts about some doctrines for years - but not until after leaving the witnesses was i free to be able to confirm my suspicions and see that yes, i did have valid reasons to have doubts all those years .

  One thing thats notable about this particular religion, here is a religion that has been pushed and marketed

  to the public now in most modernized countries for almost a 100 years now, much more so than most

  and yet they have only in that time frame they have only collected 7 million adherents.

  Added to the fact that they lose a large portion of their followers, that has to say something.
