i can remember that prior to my study of the bible i never gave a thought to my conduct and actions.
that was a concern far from my thoughts.

ah, more insult spewing......you are becoming extremely predictable.
Well, that's "two witnesses" that can testify that you're too stupid to make it worth while to engage in conversation with.a thought for you friday: who is the stupid one? is it the one who asks the question, or the one that cannot muster an answer?

first of all, thank you for the insults; they speak volumes about you as a person.
secondly, i apologize if my humor offended you. a word to the wise though: if cutting sarcasm and negativity appearing on posts about jehovahs wonderful spiritual help offend you, then you might want to find a new forum to preach in. i doubt this will be your last encounter with it.

Joel was decent enough as to even go so far as deleting his off topic remarks, once I called it to his attention that he was hijacking the thread by bringing up the subject of a different thread. But I see here that you're sorry enough to step in and plunder the thread anyway, by parroting parts of the comment that he had made.first off, my post had two parts, and i addressed the current thread first, you mustve missed it. secondly, joel wouldnt have to "hijack" anything (and i would have no need to plunder) if you would simply finish an argument after you start it. i would be more than happy to stick to the subject at hand; the problem is that you will only discuss the current subject until you decide its time to move on to your next inspiring post, leaving behind loose ends, unanswered questions, etc. this has been my experience with you up to this point, perhaps youre willing to change those ways, but i doubt it.
YOU wouldn't know whether I "ignored his questions" in the other thread anyway, not even if you‘ve been there and kept up with the discussionvery true, i dont know whether you ignored his questions, which in itself is a misquote on your part. what i said was "common practice of yours ive noticed friday. you like to ignore questions and points raised.....", which is a statement that has very little to do with joel, and very much to do with my own personal encounters with you. i merely posted joels statement first as confirmation that i am not the only poster who has experienced your dodge-and-bolt tactics.
Why, because you’re pea-sized brain can’t comprehend such deep matters.another one of your favorite tactics: attacking with insults rather than intellect. what evidence do you have of my "pea-sized brain" that "cant comprehend..."? does the fact that i "plundered" your thread automatically label me as a person with low intelligence? lol, of course not......again, ive witnessed you using this antic on many others. whenever someone ruffles your feathers you are quick to insult thinking it raises you to a higher plane. if indeed you are as intelligent as you think you are friday, you surely know that mindless insults only downgrade the appearance of the attacker.
. But like you, he's just to dense to understand.tsk tsk........more mindless mud slinging. anyone who friday cant convince must be dense. i am especially amused at the mispelling during the act of calling someone "dense". lol, what irony.
But you're a wizard, aren't you ... you know all about what I and he talked about...nope, no harry potter here, but thank you for the praise.
why don't you be half as decent as your fellow apostate has been, and take your off-topic propaganda elsewhere.oh my my friday, sorry to get your panties in a knot like that. believe me, ive tried to keep my "off-topic" issues where they belong: in their original thread. only problem is, you dont finish what you start, which makes arguing/discussing with you pretty much pointless. like your jw counterpart, yk, you love to proclaim, but despise any discussion that lingers on past your intellectual limit.

if you could post a little more detailed account of your experience, id appreciate it, this one was much to vague. perhaps you could include what you were wearing at specific points in time, possibly what you ate that day. just a thought.

This was a song written and recorded by Johnny Cash in 1973maybe cash was studying with the jws and planned to have a follow up song titled "stay alive 'till '75!" that just never made it to the recording studio. just a thought
joel makes a good point:
You never answered all my godly justice questions. I don't really think there are answers to them anyway.common practice of yours ive noticed friday. you like to ignore questions and points raised, and just move on to your next baited proclamation.
At the time, I grew a little tired of trying to get through to you on that thread.translation: anytime i cannot muster a response to a valid point, i dodge it.

okay, by popular demand........here is a photo of my giant turkey from thanksgiving.
stuffed, it weighed 46 pounds, and i had to borrow a commercial sized pan, to put it in.
as you can see, it literally fills my oven, is on the bottom rack (had to take one out) and nearly touches the roof of the oven.
andi-
creme brulee is my sisters fave too, and she insists on it every year. this year i went ahead and made both, regular and the pumpkin. the pumpkin was actually a bit easier afa getting the right consistency before taking them out of the oven, and it was a blast to make (a lot more ingredients and preparations involved vs. the regular). if you want the recipe id be happy to email it to you........i have a feeling ill be making it again before next thanksgiving, but i gotta wait at least until i run off these extra lbs. i put on over the long weekend.

wow, what a great tip, thanks. sounds much easier than the way i normally do it too, and butter always makes everything better, right? my sister always makes the mashed potatoes, and i swear she mustve used a whole box of butter this year.....mmmmmm, wow were they ever good. it seems like thats the one thing we never have enough of; even though we had two huge bowls of mashed potatoes this year, we were still fighting over the last little bit on friday afternoon.
does anyone have any special desserts to add to the "things to try next year" list? this year i made pumpkin creme brulee and it was out of this world. it was a smash hit with everyone (even one person who swears to hate pumpkin anything).

i must confess, ive never heard of a 46 lb. turkey. mine was 24 lbs, and i thought that was large. im going to your grocery store next year mulan!
andi-
thanks for the tip, ill have to try that one of these years (i especially like the sound of the lemon with the apple; i imagine that makes a nice aroma along with a change of pace flavor).
everyone seems to have their own sure fire way to prevent the dreaded dry turkey, so ill post my secret here too, and i swear by it. i rub the turkey with good old fashioned garlic salt and pepper, stuff it, and stick it in a turkey bag along with one bottle of chardonnay (doesnt have to be expensive, the cheaper stuff works just as good). and i too must brag, ive never had a dry turkey yet, its wonderful. the best part is the gravy. im sure you all know the trick of adding flour to the turkey juice in a skillet......well ill tell ya', that wine just makes an awesome gravy! whisk the flour in there slowly (to prevent lumps) over low heat, and add salt and pepper to taste (and i like just a small squeeze of lemon). presto!

john 8:58 is a bit lame to use as trinitarian argument.
jesus was before adam and he tells the pharisees that he's god's son.. that's what makes them mad *lol* .
you must face that they exist together too;.
rex-
the jw views have nothing to do with my post. i hold very little of the same beliefs as jws anymore, the trinity (or lackthereof) just happens to be one thing i still agree with them on. i know quite a few spiritual people who do not believe in the trinity, most of who were never jws. my views come from my own reasoning and common sense. the trinity simply does not make sense, and the bible does not teach it unless you intentionally read it that way. sometimes if you stare really hard at the color red you can make it turn purple.
nonetheless, just so you know rex, i have no interest in reading your links or doing extra "research" on the trinity above and beyond the research ive already done (which has been extensive and did not involve any wtbts publications). the facts are, you are a trinitarian, and you always will be........i do not believe in a triune god, and i never will. its really pointless even debating it, dont you think? i do respect your beliefs, take care.
