okay yk, how else can you take that? obviously this mysterious angelic information is much more than just biblical knowledge. you claim the watchtower merely interprets scripture, with no information imparted to them "that was not accecible through any other means"......yet here we see the watchtower claim that information is specifically imparted to them by angels, surely information that was not accecible by any other means. this is so cut and dried, yet you still try to distort it.

perhaps you recall the instance in the bible where samson made a wager with the philistines that they couldnt guess his riddle.

as it turned out they wheedled the answer out of him by his fiancee, but the point is that they had a wager.

since the underlying assumption of the apostasy is that we are not living in the last days of this system of things, and that this world is not facing anything remotely like the biblical apocalypse, at least not any time soon, in the spirit of such antagonism, i would like to propose a similar wager.

the author then makes a bold transition. first it was recent falling prices, then falling prices throughout 2002, then he imediately makes the transition into an assumed bond market "crash"....with no evidence provided to back these gloom and doom predictions of course(in fact the entire article is nothing more than one mans speculation, with absolutely no concrete backing of any kind). so i guess we just take his word for it, the bond market is going to crash because one author, on a strictly BEAR site no less, says so. thanks for the link yk, thats all the proof i need, LOL.

The reasons for the $$$ relative worth is that the presses have been running non-stop since 9-11. The world has been virtually flooded with cheap dollars.

interesting theory that flooding the market with dollars would actually increase the demand and value of the dollar. you might want to rethink that logic before you go on the road with it though, LOL.

However, there are grave consequences for such reckless monetary excesses and they are already becoming obvious.

the article you posted goes into great lengths to discuss how terrible this bond market sell-off is, and how it will cause the government to implode.....give me a break, where do you find this stuff? for one thing, the bond market thrives on bad economic data, which im sure you knew, being so financially astute and all. so, in turn, bond market selling is usually an indicator of an improving economy....great! what more could we ask for than an improving economy? bring on the bond market selling, for this also usually means stock market upticks! so now weve got bond prices falling, stock prices rising, and economic recovery.....and all this from a BEAR website? LOL.

in case anyone was wondering about how the "almighty dollar" is doing, it continues its recent strength gaining over 6% against the euro in the last year, and over the last 90 days nearly 3%. of course, it was supposed to be worthless by now, according to yks predictions on this thread. we are still waiting for the central banks to go under, as yk predicted this would happen around the turn of the year.......any day now.

actually i left the organization long before i ever realized what false prophets the wtbts actually were. it has only been recently that my eyes have been completely opened as to the ridiculous track record of the society, and its grave affect on those involved. fortunately, i was not one of the believers in '75 that felt compelled to quit my job and sell my house due to the upcoming prophesied armageddon. i wonder what god was thinking when he simply let all these people believe this misunderstanding, and dramatically alter (for the worse) their lives in preparation for the end.......seems awfully suspect that he would allow such false beliefs to be PREACHED (not rumored) via his "mouthpiece".

. The significance of that is that it means that the apostles were guilty of creating false expectations among the organization at that time. That is very similar to what took place in the organization regarding 1975.

so youre saying that even though the society claims to be inspired, and they claim that the printed words in the publications are inspired of god....when they printed IN WRITING that the end was coming in 1975, this was nothing more than a simple false expectation spread among the congregation, and not in fact a false prophesy?

you are either inspired, or not inspired. if you claim to be inspired, and the angelic inspiration supposedly tells you the end is coming in 1975, you prophesy this in writing and the end doesnt come, you are in fact a false prophet....there is no disputing this logic. even your scripture twisting cannot refute this.

if these are mere "false expectations" that god lets the wtbts believe, as you contend, then perhaps the wtbts should not go forth claiming to be directly inspired of god.....and claiming the words printed in the wt are directly inspired of god. until such time when they discontinue this belief of inspiration, your arguments remain paper thin.

God similarly allows misunderstandings and false expectations to exist among his people presently, even though God has at the same time commissioned them to preach his message, inspiring them if you insist on calling it that...

i do not insist on calling it that, the society has called it that, as shown in alans quotes, which you refuse to comment on. you claimed the society NEVER said they were inspired, and you were proven unequivically wrong. i do not insist on calling it anything, i merely repeat the societys own claims.

The verse you quoted said that a rumor "WENT OUT AMONG THE BROTHERS."

exactly, a rumor. nowhere does it say they "preached" anything.....a rumor is a far cry from false teachings, as ive already pointed out.

You countered and said there was no proof that it was spread publicly. The Scripture clearly says otherwise.

ah yes....yk says thats what the scripture means, and yk being the all-powerful bible interpreter that he is, he must be correct. if ive ever seen a nonsensical statement, your quote was it. i showed there was no proof, and your only refute is your "reasoning" on that verse......funny how whenever a jw is cornered they must fall back on "reasoning" with no PROOF. if you have such PROOF in scriptural cross references, showing that the apostles did indeed preach these false teachings, and they were much more than a simple rumor, please provide these cross references.

thats the difference we are speaking of here. the apostles didnt publicly declare that they were inspired, and then have their prophesies fall by the wayside as false......the wt HAS done this, many times over.

how does this answer the question of whether or not the "apostles PUBLICLY SPREAD false teaching about the return of Christ."? it doesnt, and you know this. there is no scripture to back up the apostles EVER publicly spreading these false teachings........and there is a world of difference between rumors that spread among the apostles, and publicly spreading false teachings. is that too difficult for you to understand? surely you will dodge yet again; perhaps you are simply "biblically illiterate". another prime example of scripture twisting.

i realize you are probably pretty bogged down right now, trying to figure a way to dig yourself from your latest hole, in which you said the WT has never claimed to be inspired (what a joke).......but hopefully this helps.
